Tire tread separation on passenger rear side occurred on 8/28/09 in st. Augustine florida. The vehicle was a mazda b2300 (2001). The driver lost control of the vehicle, spun around 180 degrees on i95, went into the ditch & collided into the guardrail on the passenger side. The passenger suffered head wounds and four broken ribs & had to be transported to flagler hospital. The driver suffered no significant injuries.
