As a result of the failure, the fuel hoses were fractured and leaking fuel. Roadside assistance helped reconnect the fuel hoses and installed a spare tire. The contact stated that while driving approximately 72 mph, a loud noise emitted outside the vehicle as it spun around and traveled onto a ditch before crashing into a fence.
