Abs control unit failed 1996 and replaced. Failed again dec 2001 and replaced for $761. A multi-ton 15 passenger van should have working abs brakes.with the repair cost, i suspect many owners are not fixing the defects and it is under-reported.apparent part number change suggests possibility ford knows of a problem and has not reported it.narrowly avoided major collision when abs were inop.

I purchased sears voyager lx road handler p195/60r15 radial tires for my honda accord as replacements for the originals and the sidewalls have blown out on 2 of the tires after 55,000 miles.this occurred while driving at highway speeds both incidents occurred within 2 weeks of each other, both tires blew the sidewalls out on the inside side wall and both tires were on the front of the vehicle.do i have any recourse and were there any recalls on these tires??these tires are advertised as 100,000 mile tires. *nlm
Cracks are noticed on the sidewall of ire. Aftermarket equipment installed at 98,174 miles, tire size p185/70s14, on a 1993, dodge spirit. Dot# unavailable. Feel free to provide any further infromation and please fill in vehicle mileage and the dot#.
