The contact owns a 2010 coachmen freedom express 24 travel trailer (na) equipped with road rider s/t tires (na), size 205/75/r14 (na). While traveling at 55 mph, the front driver side tire experienced a blowout. The contact moved off the roadway and replaced the failed tire with a spare tire. The spare tire was not made available with the travel trailer. The failure caused additional damage to the inside panel and fractured a water line. The contact took the failed tire to an rv dealer and was informed that the tires were dry rotted and recommended to be replaced every five years. The tires were manufactured in 2009, seven years prior to the failure. The trailer did not register mileage information. The tire failure mileage was unknown...updated 06/01/16
