The contact owns a 2004 chevrolet s-10.while drivingat70 mph on a clear, dry day a loud noise was heard.the contact pulled off the road and noticed the driver'sside rear tire was completely shredded.all that remained was a remnant of the tire and the rim.the vehicle was brought to a mechanic, valley tire, where the tires were still under warranty and replaced.the vehicle had four goodyear wrangler rts tires , size p235/75r15.the mechanic stated that the failure may have occurred because the tire was under inflated.
