I have recently had 3 defective pirelli scorpion str tires. All 3 "bubbled" for no apparent reason.i believe these tires are defective.i have not been successful in getting the tires replaced. The dealer is sending them back to the manufacture to determine the cause.

The contact owns a 2002 ford f250 equipped with pirelli scorpion zero asimmetrico lt235/85r/16/e1 tires. While driving approximately 80 mph, the contact noticed thumping. The contact inspected the tire and felt the tire had a raised portion on the tread area. The tire was replaced with a new tire. The contact stated he experienced the same failure with the new tire as well as the other three tires on the vehicle. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact there was no recall on the tires. The approximate failure mileage was 90,250.

Landers toyota scion at:10825 colonel glenn road little rock, ar 72204 sold me a 2009 mercedes benz g55 amg described in overall immaculate, excellent, mint, and showroom condition vehicle and amongst a dozen other issues and problems with misrepresentation, false and misleading advertisement, bait and switch, andfraud and deception it was sold and delivered to me with a set of 4 tires that were extremely unsafe, unevenly worn, damaged, and flat at delivery.(pictures, video's and witnesses available as supporting documents) these tires are not deemed safe to be driven on, especially when the vehicle was for the purpose of shuttling 3 children ages 6, 3, and 8 mos old around. All problems including the clearly unsafe tires was brought to their attention, and all representatives of this dealership including the owner [xxx] landers himself is aware though have not at all done anything to resolve this very serious matter. They have refused to address the issue to date. They have failed to correct this matter since purchase which was over 5 months ago. These tires were removed from the vehicle by professionals, and have been tagged as evidence for all future references. They are available for immediate inspection and review. Driving on these tires would have resulted in vehicle failure and loss of control and drivability, thus serious damages and injuries to all passengers as well as any/all related traffic, etc.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Have a 2012 ford edge sport with pirelli 22" scorpion zero tires which came stock on the vehicle. I have had 3 side wall blow outs causing tire failure. I do not understand why a recall has yet to be issued seems to be a problem with other vehicles with these tires.
We own a 2006 volvo xc90.it came with pirelli tires which lasted less than 17,000 miles.tires were replaced, partly by volvo, but lasted only 20,000 miles. So, two complete sets of tires and the car has only 37,000 miles.i have no choice but to replace them.
