I have a 2010 camaro 2lt with 255-20front and 275-20rear, at around 15k kilometers i noticed a slight noise of front tires and effect on the steering, i found a bit later that the pirelli p zero's were starting to cup, i brought the vehicle into my gm dealer and they replaced them through warranty, i had a full alignment done, nothing was out of line or balance. I am on my 2nd set of fronts and they are also toast at the same mileage interval. I am not sure if the tires are the problem or if the vehicles steering/suspension system is to light to handle the large tires? when i look at the steering system i am highly suspicious that this is the case. Gm would of course deny this and i cannot prove this until i change over to another set of tires. It will be interesting to find out if the steering being too light would be the problem.

On a monday morning, i get in my car to go to work and the vehicle's warning sensors start to go off indicating that my left rear tire has only 15 psi.now, only the night before, i was driving around with no problems on my tires so this leads me to believe i must have picked up something on my way home like a nail or a screw. I took the car to the nearest tire shop and when they inspected the tire they indicated there was a bulge in the inner exterior of the tire.when i asked them what that meant they informed me that a bulge usually created when driving through a pothole.i was indicated that it must have been a significant pothole to create such a condition on a fairly new tire but the problem is that i never ran over a pothole. The wheels do not have any bends or scratches indicating it went through a pothole the size of which needed to be significant enough to cause the damage. This is a new vehicle with only 4,800 miles and factory tires.because the bulge is at the sidewall of the tire, the only course of corrective action is the replace the tire.
