Tires: pirelli model p6000;a few months ago, one of the tires split on the inside causing a flat.recently, another tire of the same set did the same thing.the tires have less than 20,000 miles.the retailer is not aware of a recall.

Problems with pirelli tire equipment.*mr (nar)3 out 4 of the consumer tires were defective and he is requesting that pirelli and audi correct the problem by providing him with 4 replacement tires that are equally rated with the ones that were originally put on the vehicle.

Manufacturer claims road hazard not tire defect. However, the tire dealer says that these wheels and tires will continue to fail because they are not appropriate for nj roads. We have a mercury sable which we have driven on the same roads for the equivalent average mioleage without tire failure. At these mileages three tire failuresin a month is more than we think is normal for a car being driven on normal citystreets and highways.we will continue to talk to the dealer, however at this point they will not take any responsibility. (dot number: xtcuco41 2)

This is the third tire i have had to replace since getting the car, one had a bubble and the other two had a sidewall blowout will driving the car.audi has sent their customers a letter stating that if certain condition are met they will pay for the replacement. (tiresize: 225/45yr17)

I own a 2000 audi s4 with original equipment tires: pirelli p6000, size 225/45-17. At 3,000 miles, the first two tires developed severe bubbling in the sidewalls and both tires were replaced free of charge by the audi dealer because they said they were aware there were problems with these tires.by 15,000 miles 2 more tires had severe bubbling in the sidewalls and i had a flat tire when the tire pulled away from the rims. There is something terribly wrong with this brand of tire. I have now replaced all 4 tires in under 15,000 miles. One of the tires that was replaced at the 3,000 mark was the same tire that had the flat in it at 15,000 miles.if the audi dealer in latham, new york knew there was something wrong with the sidewalls on these tires and replaced them without a fight, then you know there is a valid complaint here. Please, if you have not already, look into these tires as i believe they have serious defects. I have the paperwork on the above replacements should you need verification.

I own/drive a 2002 a4 audi quatro with pirelli tires p6 215/55r16 93h.within the past 15 months, i have had three tires develop sidewall bubbles that have ruptured and subsequently caused the tire to go flat. The tires all had to be replaced, as they were not able to be repaired.i have contacted audi and pirelli, but they assure me it is not the tire, but the poor condition of the roadways (potholes, etc.)there are only 30k miles on my car, which is not nearly enough mileage to warrant ware to the point of developing such drastic tire problems.aside from the repeated incurred monetary costs for replacing tires, there is now a significant safety cost involved if the tires ruptures while i am driving on a highway at an accelerated speed.

All 4 tires developed serious sidewall cracks sometime before being replaced at 17000 miles.car dealer took them to pireli tire dealer who would not do anything since tread was warn to 4/32. This was a serious safety issue. Tries wore out then failed much too soon although i had all recommended dealer service.i have digital pictures and saved one tire.nlm
