Nexen tire's separation.i purchased a set of (4) nexen tires.to date 3 of the 4 have had to be replaced due to tread separation.nexen refused to replace the first (2) even though they were almost brand new.last week, a 3rd tire went bad.i had to pay for a new tire, but kept the defective tire in my possession.i'm concerned that the 4th remaining tire will blow-out at highway speeds causing an accident.will no longer let my wife drive my truck.

The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and replaced the front driver's side tire. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the failure recurred twice. The front passenger side steel belt sidewall of the tire detached and was replaced by the contact. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate tire and vehicle failure mileage was 20,000. The dot number and vin were not available.

The contact removed and replaced the tire with the spare. The contact was unable to locate a dealer to replace the tire. The tire was original equipment. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The tire line was unavailable. The tire and vehicle failure mileage was 1,600.
