Dt:consumer bought a mini home and the tires were painted over.while consumer was driving home the paint cracked and when consumer got home he found that the tires were cracked and old. Dealer was called about 6 times but they will not call him back. Manufacturer has not been called yet. Caller believes the tires are too old to be safe. 1988fleetwood jamboree rallye.the cracks in the tires measured to 1/8 of an inch deep.after driving approximately 35 miles, the fan belt deteriorated and another main belt had came apart.*sb

Purchased the tires on april 24,2004 from sears. I had my fiance take my vehicle back to sears approximately a month or month and a half ago and reported to them that there was a problem with the tires and all they did was rotate all 4 tires for me. Then tonight 12/4/04 we were driving home from outting with my children and driving 55m.p.h. And had to pull of the highway for a flat tire. Upon further inspection of the tire you could see where it looks to be the beading seperated. We are going to take the tire and the vehicle with the other 3 tires back to sears tomorrow, 12/05/04 and see what they are going to do about the problem with the tires. Tires are manufactured by michelin and are road handler 215/65s16.
Around april 2004 consumer complained about tire problems.he took vehicle to dealer forinspection. They took both front wheels off and put them in the back. Dealertold consumer that this would not be a problem. However, while driving at 50 mph rear left tire blew off. There was no report of injury. Consumer tool vehicle to dealerto get tires serviced. Dealerinformed consumer that they did no longer have this vehicle's specific tires, they were discontinued.

Notoriginal tires on 1976, ford, taurus, p205/65r dotcc9l.while traveling at 50 mphfront(r) tire exploded, tire split straight across width wide.consumer almost lost control.

Dt:the caller said three tires blew out.it sounded like a gun shot.the caller said the steel tread came off. When she took the tires to the dealer the forth one had a bulge on the tread , and they took it off the vehicle.the callersaid that the vehicle was sitting still all three times. The tires had about 8000 miles on them, the tread depth was like new. Vehicle was only driven locally. Dealer did not want to help her, and told the caller to call the manufacturer. In turn, the manufacturer said the tires were sold to sears only and she needs to go back to them.the tires are michelinsearsroad handler load range e steel belted radial,950/r16.5; and dot # b7xl.updated 11/2/2005 - the consumer still has the tire in her possesion.
