My car, a 2008 infiniti m35x, exhibited extreme tramlining (poor road tracking) on initial drive. The car would wander all over a lane when riding on a resurfaced tar line or similar. It was more severe at higher speeds. Complaint to the dealer resulted in an immediate tire replacement, from goodyear eagle rs-a to michelin primacy mxv4 which resulted in somewhat better road response, but still quite severe and noticeable even at low speeds. This is not acceptable performance from any car, let alone one that costs more than $50,000.checking various forums, i see that many people have complained about this very problem. Many claim that changing out the steering rack solves the problem. It's clearly dangerous as it stands and nissan/infiniti should issue a recall to correct it.

The contact owns a 2011 lincoln town car equipped with michelin radial xse tires, size p225/60/r17. The contact noticed the tire was completely flat with a 3 inch gash on it. The contact took the tire to a dealer who stated that he must have hit a pot hole in order for the tire to such extensive damage. 1 year ago while i was driving i noticed that the car was unsteady. I was close to home, about 20 feet, i let the car roll down hill to my home. I checked the tires & to my horror saw that the left front tire had formed a large bleb, like a large balloon on the outer side. I ran to call my husband & the tire blew up. I had the tire changed as i was told that the warranty had expired.now, i noticed that the right front tire is forming a similar bleb, on the outer side. These tires were bought from price club. I took the car to price club. I was told that the warranty had expired. I explained that i would pay for the tire, but requested them to inform michelin regarding this problem. They refused. I called michelin on 9/18/00 & spoke to ms. Millie/customer relations and explained the problem & wanted the tire inspected for any defects. She said that michelin never produced any defective tires & that this problem happened all the time, due to impact. She refused to look in to this matter. I am writing to you, because this is a safety issue for myself as well as for others. One year ago,if the tire had blown up while i was driving on the freeway, i could have been killed or seriously injured & in addition, others on the road at that sametime would have also been seriously injured. It is worrisome to me that michelin does not want to investigate this. More worrisome is michelin's statement that " this happens all the time".i am writing to you because, this is happening to me twice.please help me & please look into this matter. Thank you for your help. (dot number: b9p2b7kxtiresize: 205/60r15)

Michelin tire on acura tl type s developed a bubble after about 10,000 miles.originally accepted dealer's explanation that it came from hitting a pothole, but on line i discovered that many people had developed bubbles.i've attached a few comments from tirerack.com.are these tires safe?michelin pilot hx mxm4 - 2002 acura 3.2tl-s - vacaville, cadriving style: easy going - driving condition all highway - 2003-08-01yesterday i was reading some posts online (acura-tl.com) about the acura tl type s and everyone was complaining about bubbles and sidewall blowouts in their oem tires. So i went and checked mine sure enough i have two tires with bubbles. I called two of my friends that have the same car both also have bubbles. Went to the acura dealer to complain and saw two more customers cars with bubbles. Called michelin they gave me the pothole excuse sorry michelin didnt hit any potholes your product just sucks. Pax tires fall apart and the dealer did not service them well. Tread failure 1 to 2 inches of rubber fell off, downto threads. Dealer claimed that running into a curb could cause this to happen. Tires failed before 30 thousand miles. Cost approximately$100 more than normal tires. Honda provided no other options to tire problem, monopoly on the manufacturerof tire, michelin. Monopoly on service to vehicle where little other dependents are available to replace tire. Discount tire is the only other provider. Honda does not recognize any other optional tires for use on their odyssey. Discount tire proposes a replacement with a 18 inch z rated tire that might leave vehicle with a dash warning that cant be turned off or disarmed. Tire pressure system also is not accurate or reliable. No restfully options by owner. Weather changes set off the tire pressure alarm that can only be reset by dealer. One of the pax features was to replace a spare because of weight. A pax tire is25 lbs more per tire than a normal tire thus nullifying any benefits. Cost is a hundred dollars more per tire and reliability is less. Service ability is less. A dealer this last time was unable to break the bead on the tire. The tire before that they had to replace tire and rim 2 to 3 weeks to get it done. This time two weeks has past and the service not done failed due to mechanical failure on there new $30k000 tire machine.
3 tireshad been replaced within 11,000 miles. Sidewall blewout on all three. As a result, the driver almost had an accident.

Under normal driving conditions, the tire shreadded in the center, causing the car to go out of control and injuring my wife and myself.i called michelin and was told that this is the normal manner in which the tire would function.
Internal belt separation--occurred first time on passenger front, now it has occurred on passenger rear.i will be replacing all four tires with something else due to this continued problem, fear of well-being in danger due to defect, and the factor that the manufacturer does not manufacture these tires any more.
