Bought new michelin tiresin feb 2008 from costco stores, hackscross road, memphis tire: size 205/60r16 92v made in 2007.in use for 2,500 miles. Rearright tire blew from the side wall while driving in interstate.the entire side wall came out as a donut. No accident occurred. No injury.concerned about the tire quality of michelin tires.please advice. Contact mr. Perryadolpus automotive managerat costcophone 901 214 0071; who inspected the defective tire and mentioned that it is a manufacturing defect. A new tire was installed.greatly concerned about the durability of the other new michelin tires installed at the same time in my 2003 acura tl vehicle. Mileage 67,000.
Dt*: the contact stated while driving 35 mph on normal road conditions, the front passenger tire blew out.the vehicle was taken to the local dealership, who replaced all four tires stating that hyundai was having problems with the tires on the vehicles.the manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to the tire manufacturer.tire manufacturer: michelin.size: p205/60r16>ak
Valve stem failure the stems were cracked on all 4 tires my husband had a blowout and 7 days later he had a flat which is when we seen the cracks. The manager of tire kingdom knew of problem with tr413 lot but was not aware of the recall which we found out on the internet. He is going to replace the last 2 stem valves tomorrow 7/26 and we are going to keep the old ones. He will not reimburse for the blowout tire. We bought the tires new 5/29/07 from them.
