The contact owns a 2014 toyota sienna equipped with michelin primary mxv tires, size: pt335/60/r17 (na). While driving,there was an abnormal, loud noise. The contact noticed that the rear driver's side tire blew out and the tread separated from the sidewall. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic.the local dealer was not contacted. The rear driver's side tire was replaced. There were no issues with the other tires on the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified. The vin and dot number were unknown. Noticed a bubble blistered on top of tread of tire while vehicle was parked in driveway on a 1999, acura, cl; original equipment, tire size 205/55vr16, dot# unavailable. Michelin center notified, and refused to look at tire.please feel free to provide any further details on this matter.
