I own 8 mx4 michelin tires i rotate and use 4 in the winter and four in the summer. While driving at 70 mph i experienced a catastrophic blow-out on my front passenger side tire im a professional driver and have loggedover 1.5 million miles in commercial and personal vehicles and i utilize the smith system .the road was clear with little traffic and no road hazards present.two weeks later onthe highway at 55 mph. Another massive blow-out left rear both times large holes in the sidewalls one tier manufactured in 2000 the other in 1999 miles on both tires 17k tiers inspected and confirmed blowout originated from the inside .similar occurrences have been reported. My remaining six tires have been inspected for side wall damage or unusual wear and none found vehicle has been serviced and no defects found.

Brake problem at 13000 miles and again at 25000, costly repair, the truck weighs 6000 lbs and brake system is not adequate for vehicle. Caliper had to be replaced on new vehicle! please investigate, i know this will happen again, brakes have excessive dust, wear fast.

Strong steering wheel vibration on 2004 hyundai elantra at speeds over 60 mph. Have taken car to dealer 5 times, in which they have rotated wheels, balanced tires, road force balanced tires, with no improvement. Numerous other elantras from 2001-2005 suffer from this problem as a simple google search will yield many. Hyundai will not acknowledge problem even though there is a tsb for this issue. Will file for lemon law if not fixed on 6th attempt.

Michelin mx4 tires on 2001 dodge grand caravan sport, vehicle has only 31,840 miles on it and tires thread are worn severely and metal from radial is exposed. I already had to replace 1 tires because of side thread worn, this now makes 3 (1st tire replaced under 25,000 miles.this is a real safety issue for our family vehicle and action should be taken.

Two michelin mx4 215/65r16 tires have needed replacement without any road hazard involved in under 20,000 miles. First was a bulge in the sidewall, the second was a slow leak that became a full flat with no visible damage. These both occurred on a 2002 chrysler town and country on the right side of the vehicle.

Criuse control does not maintian speed on uphill roads - dealership replaced - problem corrected, tires wear out at 25000+ miles. Area is outside edge on boths sides of tires bald. Front end check out ok, replaced tires with rear tires, but still experiencing same problem.(tiresize: 215/60-17)

Large hole appeared in sidewall of tire on my daughter's car when tire contacted curb while parking, causing tire blowout.garage mechanic states that tire appeared to be flawed and prone to such catastophic blowout.this is a serious situation which could easily have been tragic if contact with curb had occurred while traveling at higher speed.i request that an urgent review of this tire be conducted, especially if there have been other similar occurrences.tire involved was michelin mx4, all season, p195/65r15, m+s.

Side wall has a slit and a bulge in the side wall.this was caught before a failure.they tried to tell me that it was from a road hazard and not a defect.i don't believe a word of it.

2003 dodge grand caravan es with michelin mx4 p215/60r17 96s tires (dot b9kx dvmx 1102). Two tire have had damaged sidewalls. One tire on the passenger rear resulted in a slow leak. The other, on the passenger front, has a bulge after contact with the curb. The sencond tire was fine for only minutes earlier during an oil change and recall work at the dealership. No abnormal contact with a road hazard occurred during the two mile drive from the dealer to home.

While driving 60 mph, the rear passenger tire experienced tread separation and separated from the sidewalls.

Consumer stated the tire tread started separating shredding long rubber strips. *lnthe consumer stated the tread and steel belt section were not properly bonded to the tire casing during the manufacturing process and the tire tread started separating and shredding long rubber strips.
