The contact stated that while driving 60 mph, the rear driver's side tire exploded.the contact noticed that the side wall was separated from the tread. The tire was taken to an independent tire shop where they stated that the tire were defective. The tire was then taken to a michelin dealer where the contact was advised that the blowout was caused by a screw. The vehicle failure mileage was 61,000 and the current mileage was 61,863. The tire failure mileage was 25,581...updated 11/14/12 the consumer stated a second tire had to replaced because the tread depth cannot be more than 4/32 on same axle on a 4 wheel drive. During vehicle inspectioni found that the rubber were peeling from the walls of my front tires. The dealership have replaced them with a 30% prorated cost.
