Bought 2016 thor four winds model vin [xxx] 8-3-2015 new. Took it out on the first road trip oct 2015 and had a flat tire due to improper installation of mud flaps by campland rv. Upon the return trip home had a tire blow out on the interstate. Contacted campland, ford, michelin, ford freeway ford. I told them i did not feel safe driving the rv with bad tires and i asked for them to be replaced. Took rv to discount tire, and they recommended replacement. Tire had less than 4,000 miles. Ford towed the rv to freeland ford to fix the blow out and fix the rest of the tires. The rv was down from oct 2016-jan 10 2017. The results were slow and no one wanted to take accountability for the bad tires losing air. Everyone wants to keep pointing fingers, but nothing gets done. Finally replaced the blown out tire and tightened the value stems. Upon towing the towing company did not leave the axle freeland had to replace the axle from towing. Got the rv back and complained again that tires were losing air. May 1 2017 went to take rv out for next trip it has 6,000 miles on it and it has flat tires again. 265/65/16 michelin ltx m/s2 tire, these tires were new and purchased on 6/21/16, on 7/11/16 less then one month i had to brake hard to avoid an accident. Morning drive from fredericksburg, va to syracuse ny along route 81n. Roads are empty, dry, & sun is up. I had just decided to stop at next exit for breakfast when my 2005 tundra pickup is violently jerk to the right. I try to fight it back straight when it suddenly takes of to the left, then jerks back to the right. I hit the guard rail & the truck flips over. The next thing i remember i'm hanging upside down & i'm hearing a strange noise. I turn the keys off & the noise stops. I think i smell gas and fight my way out of the seat belt & crawl out what is left of the passenger side window since the drivers side is blocked. When i get out there is someone yelling from road. I tell him i'm ok & a trooper stops. I start collecting some silver coins that are scattered when i hear the trooper yelling at me. Sounding mad. He tells me to stop & go to guard rail. As i try to make it to guard rail legs & muscles don't work right &starts hurting bad.ambulances arrive (2) and they argue with me. I tell them i didn't call them & i don't want them. (no insurance & don't want to seat in an er for the next 8 hrs just to be given pain killers & told to see my dr asap.) tow truck arrives & tells trooper he doesn't need traffic control. Trooper leaves after trying to get me to say what caused the accident. I didn't know, since i was awake & driving then i was in the middle of a night mare. Tow truck driver drags my truck up to the guard rail & points out front passenger tire & says "that's what caused the accident. A friend from ny picks me up at the tow yard & on the way back we stop at the crash site. We see where the rim starts cutting a groove in the black top & swerves back & forth the road.3 days later i meet insurance adjuster at tow yard & he also points at the front tire & says it caused the accident. We notice the tear in the tire is in the opposite direction of rotation, so i probably didn't run over anything.

Tires on honda ridgeline michelin ltx m/s 245 60/18 (n/a) have been diagnosed as dry rotting. I've read complaint 10456126 of the same exact problem. It seems this is more common than anticipated after a google search revealed more people with the issue.

Michelin ltx m/s2size 275/55r20. I purchased a set of 4 new tires on june 26, 2015 from national tire and battery. Two of the 4 tires were manufactured in 2013. Weeks 28 and 31. The other 2 tires were manufactured in 2015. The two tires made in 2013 are experiencing the tread coming off, peeling, and chunks missing out of the tread. These are not in the michelin ltx recall by a few weeks. The 2015 tires are fine. How they are allowed to sell 2 year old tires as new is beyond me but these old tires are not safe in my opinion.
