Bad brakes.i had a 2006 acura tl and i traded it in for a 2008 acura tl. The brakes are very poor on this 2008. I feel like they downgraded the safety of their consumers to cut cost. I almost crashed 3x in 2 days of having car because the car does not stop and i have to the press the brakes all the way down. I feel like this car is dangerous because it does not have good performance brakes like the 2006 acura tl did. At 41k miles my 06 tl had better braking then this 2008. Shame on acura for risking our lives for money. How many people have to die before acura installs performance rotors and brakes like they did in the past? none yet!!! i am scared to drive help!

All he ever hit was a curb.he was killed instantly.

I own a 2010 ford fusion and i have been having problems with the brake pedal going down to the floor. The brakes are soft, and the brake pedal is not operating correctly. I took it to a shop to have the brakes check to see if i needed new brake pads or what the issue was. I was referred to the dealer for possible factory warranty brake condition, stating it has tsb on brake booster switch, brake pedal level switch problem.i have taken my car to the dealer 3 times and they state there is nothing wrong with the brakes, but when driving the vehicle the brakes are not operating correctly. The brake pedal is going down to the floor when braking is not a normal operation, driving this car is dangerous. The brakes feel like a sponge and i fear one day this car is not going to stop, and i have explained this to the mechanic at the dealership as well as the manager in the service department. Well my fear almost came to light when i had to floor the brakes to stop the car while driving on the highway.i have been told by the dealership there is nothing they can do because their is no recall on the brakes and there is no service complaint from ford. The only action taken by the dealership was to bleed the brakes, which did nothing to solve the problem. At this point i feel i have no recourse but to park the car until i can get another vehicle, because i am afraid to drive it.

(1) noticeable strong vibration in steering wheel when car approaches speed of 65-70 mph.vibration becomes stronger with increasing speed. The problem was noticed after car had been service at toyota dealer (armstrong toyota).(2) car becomes unstable and difficult to control(3) returned to same dealer.dealer stated that the problem was tire balacing.upon checking the car, dealer informed me that tires would not "take" balancing and that the problem was tire pressure.tire pressure was adjusted, but problem persists.

Vehicle has a vibration between 52-64 mph. Feels like you are driving over rumble strips. The dealer and factory have attempted to repair 4 times and over 19 day in shop and still the vibration is present. My fear is the vehicle transmission, drive train, steering or brakes could fail at any moment due to part fatigue.there seems to be no repair in plan to resolve this problem can you please help.

This about a tire called riken raptor's. I now have had this happen twice where the top part of the tire comes off the side walls, it happened in august as well. The tires were perfectly fine as far as air goes as i maintain my car. But for a 2nd one to have happened to me tells me there is a problem and i would hope someone would look into this. I found a thread via goggle that had many of the exact same issue on these tires. Michilen is the mfg of them and they just tell people its a case of to little air. How would they know 1st of all and i do know it was inflated correctly.i tried calling the retailer but got no where so trying here so as no one else gets hurt from these tires. I was lucky only a fender liner and minor body damage after it blew of at 65mph.

We want to file a complaint to a tire manufacturer, michelin.we have bought 4 piece of michelin tires on 11/24/2006 from its a tire dealer, costco wholesale club tier center, located at 50 overlook blvd, nanuet, ny 10954, tel. (845) 425-0316 and the 4 piece tiers were installed there. The tire model is michelin pilot sport a/s 225/50r17 ultra high performance price at $207.99 per tier (current price)after 4 months, on 3/28/07, we accidentally found one tire located at front passenger side had blister (a bubble) in the sidewall, when we checked the tire air pressure. See the picture as follows: we are glad to find this defective tier prior to getting a car accident.because we realized that the defective condition might result in a rapid loss air pressure, which could lead to a loss control and a vehicle crash.we could like to have either an inspector of the highway traffic safety administration office or a third party inspector to inspect this defective tier to get some information to protect people from potential car crash and lost lives.please contact me for any additional information.i appreciate your consideration and looking forward to hear you soon.

Consumer complaint about michelin tire failure. Consumer states the tire was a michelin p215/70r15. Michelin company told him they would give him 30% of the cost of a new tire as a good will gesture.the consumer stated his wife was driving the vehicle and the right front tire blew out on the highway. The consumer had four new tires installed on the vehicle.

Michelin hydroedge p205/55r16 installed perhaps 3--5 years ago went flat during a ~20 mile drive, but might have been underinflated (cold weather) beforehand.i was unable to find an operating tire pump for ~10 miles.when i applied air the tire wouldn't hold pressure. Replacing it with the spare enabled me to see that on the inside the tread had split over a large circumference.

On 11/20/12, i drove my 2005 acura rsx to acura of manhattan (aom) in ny, ny. The service included 4 new tires -- michelin 215/45/17.on 12/01/12, after 40-50 miles with new tires, the vehicle starts vibrating. I stop and notice a blown-out front right tire.emergency road assistance puts on the spare tire, notices the other 3 tires are under-inflated and adds air. I return to aom on 12/03/12, mentioning the vibrations, blown-out tire, and 3 under-inflated tires. Aom guarantees that all remaining tires are in good condition and replaces the blown-out tire. On 12/14/12, on a divided parkway the car again starts vibrating. I slow down to stop, but the rear of the car yanks to the right, the car spins wildly, i smash head-on into the median divider, the air bags deploy, the car spins around, the rear hits the median, i come to a standstill. No other car is involved. I am unhurt. I leave the car; i notice one rear tire off the rim and the other one flat.the police write up an accident report. The car is towed to a garage. My insurance company rapidly determines it is a total loss. It was the first time ever that a car of mine vibrated -- not once but twice in two weeks. The first time, one tire blew out; the second time, both rear tires were either off the rim or flat. And this immediately after aom had replaced all 4 tires. I sent a certified mail letter to [xxx], president and chairman of aom, asking for an explanation. I got 3 non-explanatory e-mails from a [xxx]; none addressed the questions raised in my letter.i report this to nhtsa to prevent further accidents caused by improper service by aom.were the tires defective? did the local distributor provide old tires with reduced elasticity? did the tires properly fit my car's rims?did aom correctly install, calibrate and balance the tires? as of this writing, no response has been given by aom which is avoiding the issue. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

While driving on the dan ryan expressway at 3:00 p.m. On 4/30/04, i heard a pop and i thought a belt snapped, my car, a 1994 saab s, jerked, it was difficult to gain control.i smelled burning rubber.i looked in the rear view mirror and saw a tire role from east to west on the expressway.i thought i ran over it.further down the road a person on another car told me i didn't have a tire on the passenger side of the car in the rear.when i pulled off the expressay i saw the tire was missing.the middle of the tire had pulled away from the sides.the sides of the tire were left on the wheel.

When accelerating only on wet surfacestires slipped and slid. Dealer statedthat it was normal, and just to stop and apply the gas again.

My michelin cross terrain tires were completely bald on the rear after only 25k miles and we replaced them but now our front tires are bald after 35k miles.

All four tires continuously deflate.within 3 - 4 days the tire pressure can get as low as 10 lbs of pressure.i must add pressure anytime i want to drive the vehicle.the tires have been checked for damage this is not the problem.appears the tires are leaking around the rims. This problem has existed since our purchase of the vehicle in oct of 2005.our small town dealership has not taken the initiative to correct the problem, but have only stated there were no recalls on the rims.since we drive this vehicle infrequently and have other vehicles for transportation we have chosen to live with the inconvenience up to this point.the vehicle, today has less than 40k miles on it.i do not feel that i the consumer should incur the expense of correcting this problem.please advise how i should proceed with reconciling this problem.i've also submitted a complaint under odi #10262250.as i also have a speedometer issue which just started occurring.

I own a 2001 mazda mpv dx.in the user manual and on thedoor label, the manufacturer recommends a 94 for weight.many tire shops offer a 92 rated based on books and computer programs.i drove 50,000 miles using michelin hydroedge rated 92.i could feel lug driving the car all this time.is it ok to install tires having a lower weight rate, than the manufacturer recommends?

I purchased a set of tiresfor my car on feb 2003 (michelin ltx a/t all season p235/75r15105s from costco) on june 2004 one of the tires blewout on the sidewall and separated, on march 2006one of the tires blewout on the sidewall and separated, and on june 2006one of the tires blewout on the sidewall and separated, i have only put a total of 18,000 miles on the tires. I don't understand how the tires keep blowing out on the freeway. The michelin manufacturer just blew me off, and was of no help.

Purchased mic defender tires jan 3, 2013 and they are cracked on the sides they tell me they mite blow out on the road.

While driving on the interstate, the right rear tire came apart. The tire was blown out in multiple areas. The responding trooper advised it was one of the worst he had seen and similar to the firestone problem. (tiresize: p245/75r16)( dot number:tire size: p245/75r16 )

I brought my car brand new 2 years later i started having this vibration problem i thought it was the cheap factory tires that was the problem. I took it to the dealership and said that it was the factory tires. Well the problem is the rims not the tires and not the suspension. This nice old man who has a tire garage pointed this out to me these cheap factory rims bend so easily that the tire moves from side to side . I had other people look at the rims and they couldn't see any thing wrong with them. Thanks to that nice old man i hope everybody takes a look at there rims.

Tires have developed cracks in sidewall.lf tire blew out when large portion of sidewall became detached from inner cords.tire pressure checked at 34psi shortly before incident.no apparent damage to tire from road debris, etc. Which might explain fai (dot number: m3nx83ax50tiresize: 185/65r15)

I took my car to wal-mart for oil change and tire rotation, they did the oil change and refused to do the tire rotation. They recommended that both front ties be replaced. They made me sign a paper that they informed me of the problem with the tires. The technicians said he won't feel safe driving this car especially with kids on board. I do care of my car and keep up with the tire rotation and general maintenance. I took the to discount tires and they recommended replacing the tires because of cracks in the tires. Michelin is refusing to honor the warranty 6 years / 90,000 miles.there is no way these tires can go 90,000 miles, there are cracks in the tires. A second look at these tires is vital, they have cracks and there is no way the can handle the 90,000 miles. Michelin is playing games and are refusing to honor the warranty.
