While traveling on the interstate at approximately 65 mph, i ran over some road debris which caused my tire to blow out.i did check my owners manual and acura does not warranty their $240 tires for that kind of failure.i then checked my michelin warranty booklet, which also stated that kind of failure was not warranteed.the nearest tire store did not have my tire in stock, so i had to put a non-oem tire on my car.while at the detroit auto show during industry preview day, i noticed a michelin booth.i inquired about my tire failure.michelin stated that i should have contacted them at the time of the blow out.i stated, i read their booklet and it was not covered under warranty.they took my name and number and said someone would contact me.with in one week i received a call from michelin.they instructed me to purchase a new michelin tire to match my other 3 tires and send them the bill.with in one week i received a check.if they want to be contacted and will reimburse me for tires, they should put that in the warranty booklet.
