I observed cracks in my tires about 1 inch out from the rim. All four tires are starting to crack out along the bead line in a circle around the tire.the dealer i purchased these from says it is not dangerous, but he is willing to credit a small sum towards a new set of tires.why would someone credit you if the tires are not defective.it appears they are trying to cover this up. My family rides in this vehicle and now i am concerned for their safety.the dealer wants to sell me a set of tires just like i have and will only credit me if i purchase from him or holt the tires and credit till i need a new set.i hope to hear from you quickly because i need my truck.the tires are mastercraft courser at-2265-75r16purchased on 5/26/07.

I was traveling down the freeway when i was cutoff by another car entering from an on ramp. I hit the brakes and skidded for approximately 2-3 seconds. My mastercraft courser a/t2 235/75/16 lost large chunks of rubber from the tread. I purchased these new in fall of 2008. I believe a skid for any longer period of time may have resulted in tire deflation or unraveling of the tire at 70mph. Due to the damage of my tire i could not catch the vehicle to report it to the police.

Purchased mastercraft courser a/t2265/70r16 tires 9/13/2007, took to mechanic for shimmy, was informed that belts in tires shifted, brought to town fair tire in westfield, ma. Balanced tiressent me on my way, went back 2 weeks later for same problem, was informed that there was a safety concern, however it still cost me $322.01 with old tires being prorated. I only had 12000 miles on the tires and if it was a safety concern shouldn't the tires been covered under a recall or workmanship warranty. I did check for recalls different size tire had a recall for belt shifting in tire, however this size was not affected by recall. I feel this is a problem and i am very upset that i had to pay for the problem with could have been worse. So in less than two years i had to spend almost $900.00 with one set being prorated on tires.... Very concerned very upset. Please note this was a problem on more than one tire.
