While pulling our camper on i-10 in florida at 65 mph, our tire blew out causing us to be stranded.. It also damaged the rim and part of our camper. After putting the spare tire on, we noticed it looked warped and drove slowly to our camping location. After setting up for camp, we noticed the remaining tire looked strange too. We had to buy a new tire and rim to get home. Bottom line is, all three tires that came on our new camper were suspect. We bought this camper new and expected to be able to use it more than 3 times before needing to replace tires. The tires seem to be defective and they were on our forrest river salem camper. Had 2 tire blowouts the same day on castle rock 225/75 r15 tires on my 2017 forrest river flagstaff travel trailer.the tire pressure was set prior to beginning trip and the first tire went within 30 miles of the trip.the second tire which was the spare blew out after 200 miles, the spare had never been in service, was kept properly inflated under a tire cover.all tires were nitrogen filled and the trailer was near its standard weight as all of the holding tanks were empty and ~250 lbs of additional cargo over the base weight.after arriving at my destination i noticed that one of the other tires was beginning to separate as well.

I have a complaint on castle rock tires, st205/75r14, radial st226, d105/101l, dot jujt ymt 1418. These tires were on a 2019 freedom liberty express travel trailer, vin 5zt2fet1kw006857. My wife and i were traveling home from florida. Within 100 miles of atlanta, heading toward knoxville, we had a blowout. All tires were properly inflated and appeared in good condition. I pulled to the emergency lane and employed the spare. Less than 2 hours later we had another blowout. Now with no spare i had to leave the camper on the side of the interstate and take the blown out tires for replacement. Closing time for tire stores was approaching so we were quite nervous about our situation. I was able to get 2 replacement tires and put one on the camper. By this time darkness was approaching and we were afraid another tire would blow out so we found a campground and stopped for the night. Upon reaching the campground i researched the tires that had blown out and the first thing i noticed on the internet was these tires are prone to blowouts. The following morning we traveled to the nearest discount tire store and i replace all 4 tires on the camper so they would all match and used one of the other tires i purchased for a spare. I replaced the tires with a much better and more expensive tire. One of the first things the man at discount tire said when i told him about our blowouts was, they get about 1 person a week with blowouts with these tires, we call them china pops. The blowouts damaged my camper. Thankfully, we were in a situation where we could pull over when the blowouts happened, but this could have easily resulted in a wreck because of the blowouts.we had to spend an extra night on the road and buy 6 new tires because of the blowouts. I feel these tires are unsafe. I have contacted the camper company and they report they have had good service from the tires. Tire company parent company has not returned my phone calls.

Tire size st225/75/r15on 7/16/2020 we were travelling and our passenger tire blew causing damage to the side of our trailer. We were on the antioch bridge and when we heard the noise we had to travel over a mile to slowly reach a safe area to pull over. When we got home we inspected the other tires and found that another tire had a huge bump on it. We replaced both tires at les schwab. We were told that these tires were not recommended to be on a trailer. Then on 7/14/2021 we were travelling on the highway and we heard a loud noise. We pulled over and discovered that one of the other original tires on the trailer had blown now making 3/4 tires. The tire had completely come apart, again very unsafe. We decided to take that tire and the 4th and final original tire to be replaced, by les schwab, only to be told the 4th tire also had very unusual wire exposure and very unsafe. In neither of the incidents was there any impact that caused the blowout. Both times my family of 5 was travelling in the towing vehicle. These tires have very low mileage. We were refunded a small portion of the cost, by the tires manafacturer.

I purchased a new 2018 304rkds gt3 camper and on may 18, 2020 i had three tires blow out on opposite sides of the camper on different axles. Tires had around 3890 miles on them and were properly inflated and were kept under a covered shelter when not in use. The first one happened on the passenger side front axle around 11:00 a.m. At around 40 mph after around 20 mins of travel. When tire blew it caused interior and exterior damage to the camper. Replaced it with the spare tire and tried to proceed to deliver the unit to the dealership. Around 2:45 p.m. A second tire blew on the opposite side on the rear axle while traveling around 60 mph. Conditions were dry, clear and in the 70s. Prior to this on october 7, 2019. I discovered the spare tire which was mounted on the back, covered and stored under as shelter had blown apart with no use. I notified the dealership with pictures and warranty information. No response. Followed up nov. 4th. No reply. November 14, 2019 i received an email stating ?that she said she hasn't had many cases of the spare tire exploding, she only mentioned that maybe it was the weather or just a bad run of tires. They do cover tires and she said i could file a claim but it's going to be the exact tire that's on it, i do hear that most customers aren't happy with that brand of tire.? i replied on the same day that i find it hard to believe that it is weather related and that i hope that the 4 that are on the camper and are in use are not from the same run and i don?t want to have problems with them going down the road and i never received anything further. Now 2 blowouts later with damage to the camper the dealer is stating that the tires are out of warrant. But the manufacture is willing to goodwill 5 replacement tires but i am responsible for all the cost for the labor and damages. The tires have a 1 year unconditional warranty, 2 year roadside assistance and a 5 year against manufacturer's defects. This issue is unresolved at this point.*dtconsumer has followed up with manufacture and de

I was traveling ~65 mph towing my camper when one of the tires on the camper threw it's treads off, damaging my camper.i had my wife and two young children in my car coming home from a weekend camping trip.i have diligently tracked the mileage i've put on the camper tires and there are ~6810 miles on the tires which recently passed as part of my annual camper inspection.i also put rv tire covers on the tires when it is parked in my driveway for more than a week to keep the sun off of them and the camper gets stored in an underground mine over the winter.resulting damage was not bad enough to keep me from driving it home, but i did have to call a tow company to help remove the tire and get the spare on.i will be taking the camper in to the dealer to get the damage fixed and will have to submit it to my insurance company.there were no warning signs that there were issues with the tire.
