New tire, wires coming out of the shoulder of the tire.

I am filing a complaint against flow mazda of fayetteville nc because of their customer service manager failing to provide dealer warranty information and/or tire manufacturer warranty information at time of purchase of 3 tires on 23 feb 2013 1420 est. As a result i just found out yesterday july 31, 2014 after 0920 hrs. Est that due to not following "owners obligations" it was my fault for a really vague term - "lack of maintenance". I also attempted to file an official complaint with [xxx] of flow mazda unfortunately he did not write anything down and he told me it will be stored in his head.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Kumho ecsta lx platinum 225/45zr17 tire on left front of saab 9-5 with approximately 25,000 miles use blew out suddenly (rapid loss of air) and without warning at 35 mph.appears to have several cracks in sidewall near tread.prior to blowout, slight left pull in car steering was noted during interstate driving, but assumed to be alignment issue since all tires maintained normal pressure.tire was replaced; dealer determined tire was defective (possible internal belt slip).failed tire is available from owner.

The contact owns a 2007 lexus es350 equipped with kumho ecsta lx platinum tires, size: 215/557r17 (na). Four tires were purchased new and installed on june20,2016. While driving 70 mph, the tires began to vibrate. The driver could barely steer and maintain control of the vehicle. The following day, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the interior belt slipped and three of the four tires were faulty. The tires were not repaired or replaced. The contact planned to replace the tires this week. Tires were rotated but vibration continued. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The tire and vehicle failure mileage was 94,500. The vin was unknown. I went to my repair shop for an oil change. When the car was up in the air the technician was alarmed at my passenger front tire. We looked at it and the tire had actually caved in with wear along the inside edge of the tread to the point where it had separated and the steel belts were showing. The rest of the tire tread was normal. The front wheels have less than a degree of negative camber. I have not noticed any pulling one way or the other to indicate misalignment. The shop put my spare on the pasenger front, but the driver front is also beginning to show the same pattern. Before i buy new tires i want to find out why this happened so it doesn't happen again. I suspect a shifted belt. I have notified kumho of this problem and sent them a picture. I can send you a picture and i still have the problem tire available. I think this tire could have blown anytime, but we caught the problem in time.
