Complaints works for a delivery services.replaced 12 kona clt lt215/85r16 tires within the past 5 months due to bulges in the sidewall.tires have been in all positions on vehicles and have developed bulges.size of bulges ranges from golf ball size to softball.
The contact owns a 2006 kia sedona.the contact stated that while traveling approximately 65mph he started to hear a thumping noise.he took the vehicle to a tire dealer and they found that the rear left tire tread had split and the steel belts were twisted.diagnostics were done on the tires, only one out of the four tires was not defective.the vehicle was equipped with kona,model kh16 tires 22570c16.the contact replaced all four tires at his expense. The manufacturer was contacted and they stated there was nothing they could do.the failure mileage on the tires was 19,083, as well as the vehicle.the vin was unavailable.updated 10/27/10. *lj
