We purchased a 2007 bighorn 04/25/2007, new from a local rv shop. We used it very little the first year, i was working, now since i retired we started traveling with our bighorn. On 07/08/08 noticed a ball on one of the tires. The tires came with the 5th wheel are a karrier loadstar st235/80 r16dot 7yhj anc. Tire replaced with les schwab. On 09/24/2008 we were traveling, and near dillon, mt. I noticed a ball on a different loadstar , went to dillon and replaced that tire, had the other tires check and was good to go. Less than 30 minutes from dillon a loadstar blew and cause consider amount of damage to our bighorn. I had the dillon les schwab come and replaced the one that blew and the last loadstar on the 5th wheel. I contacted kenda makers on karrier loadstar. Also i seen on different blogs and website that there has been problems with the tires. That there even could be a silent recall on the loadstars, if nothing at least put out a look at tire notices. I feel that my wife and i were in dander using the tires.

Purchased 4 st205/75d14 kenda loadstar 550 tires 18 months ago .the inflation has been kept to specs.i just noticed 2 of them are developing major cracking in sidewall.kenda will not respond to my questioning of this. We have a 2004 cardinal 5th wheel that had kenda tires lt23585r16 on a short trip we blew a tire on the way to n.h(7/27/10) and one on the way back to ma(8/3/10). We were going through a toll 10mph when the first tire blew, there was a huge hole with pieces of the belt hanging out.it seems that the individual pieces they use to make the belt were not glued together properly or they used cheap pieces and they gave way. These tires are made at a kenda rubber factory in taiwan. The second tire blew when we were going the speed limit, the tire shredded into pieces and caused damage to the side of the camper. The tire has plenty of tread and it is obvious that the tire is not made properly and is defective. These tires need to be recalled and the company needs to stand behind their product .kenda will not admit that there is a problem with their product and it will have to take a death and a law suit for them to admit and fix the problem.we now have to replace all the tires in order to keep our family safe. If you have these tires take them off....

The contact owns a 1999 honda goldwing motorcycle. The vehicle was equipped with kenda kruz k673 tires (n/a), tire size 160/80/16 (n/a). The dot number was k3bp2311. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The failure mileage was 96,940.

Our camper, 2006 forest river cardinal, came with kendra karrier loadstar st 235/80 r16 tires (dot 7yhj anb 4404). We bought camper used in augusta, ga during may 2007.camper is in great shape having been kept under cover at all times.tires had plenty of thread, were properly inflated, and looked good.we have taken 4 or 5 small trips with the camper during the past 15 months.while driving from columbia, sc to charleston, scwe stopped for lunch then continued our trip (meaning tires were not hot).almost as soon as we got back on the road one of our loadstar tires detreaded on us.tread came off one of our front right tire just like it was a retread.the tread then acted like a chain saw through the floor of the camper. Pieces of rubber and steel wire were embedded all over the inside of the camper.big hole in camper floor, damage to insulation, wires, ripped fire extinguisher off wall, damage to door and camper outside.tire never went flat.kendra karrier loadstar warranty is non-existent.they make bad tires then don?t stand behind them.i have pictures of tire and camper damage.

Klever a/p radial on my fifth wheel camper blew out damaging the fender skirt, wheel moldings and lost the center wheel cover. Are their recourses available to me since these tires have demonstrated they will blow out because of faulty manufacturing.

Tire failure on 5th wheel trailer.

Have a new merhow 3 horse trl. Had kendra/karrier 235-80-16 radials. I have had to replace 4 of the 5, due to 3 blowouts on sidewalls. The 1st in 11-09 the other 2 blew on i-75 near chattanooga on 5-10. All tires were new and had less than 3,000 miles. The 4th found bubble on outside wall just before another trip, did not blow out. All tires did the same thing large baseball size bubble on the upper sidewall, 3 on the outside 1 on the inside. The 5th tire did not blow due to being the spare and never on ground.

I have a roaddog 24 foot cargo trailer 2006 purchased in 2007.about a year after i purchased it i put new 5200 pound axles and new kenda tires on it because i felt the 3500 pound axles were not strong enough.i contacted kenda about defects in the tires i was given a big run around.they were to send me shipping labels to send tires back but never did.i was taking the trailer to one of there tire stores that is about 50 miles from me and one of the tires blew.damaging the wheel well and trailer brake wires plus it made me swerve off the road side swiping a yellow sign doing damage clear down the side of the trailer.the problem with the tires (they are a little over one year old and they have more than half the tread left) is that they start getting air bubbles in the sidewalls.not little ones but long ones around almost next to the rim.i have five of these tires bought at the same time and they are all showing signs of this. The one tire that blew the whole tread came off and you can see signs of where the tread had been separating.this was shown to a dot officer and he agreed that the tries have a manufacturing defect.kenda is doing nothing about this problem.these tires should be recalled.added the trailer is a road dog made by diamond cargo but it is not listed in the list so i had to put something in there in order to complete complaint. The model is db8.524ta.
