The contact owns a 2001 honda cr-v, equipped with hercules touring tires, size 205-70-r15, dot number: kabvb20h4910, serial number: lm-h005-01.the contact stated that the front passenger tire would constantly lose air. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who inspected the vehicle and found that the tire had a hole.the dealer replaced the front passenger tire.the vin was not available.

Hercules roadtour 655 tire developed a large bulge in sidewall area.this was noticed and the tire was taken out of service as being unsafe.the local hercules tire dealer said that they would not replace tire or give partial credit on a replacement tire.

Consumer writesfrom ontario regarding problems with tires *tgwthe consumer stated he purchased four tires in december 2006.the consumer stated he still has the receipt which is clearly marked with a 130,000 mile warranty. The two rear tires have broken belts and wires protruding from them. The consumer went back to the establishment where he purchased the tires from and the manager stated there was nothing wrong with the tires, before even looking at the them and stated the problem was with the vehicle.

While traveling on the highwayon january 23,20 04. At approximately 60 mph, the tread on the front passenger side tire separated,resulting in complete destruction of the tire. On march 23, 2004while driving at the same speed, the tread on the rear driver side tire separated, resulting in tire failure.hercules, terra track,r123,lt245/75r16, the tires had only 17,000 miles on them. Dt*: the contact stated while driving 60 mph, the rear left inside tire blew out.the road was clear of debris.the vehicle was driven off to the side of the road, then driven to an independent tire shop where a used tire replaced the failed tire.most of the separated tread was left on the side of the highway.the failed tire was only three weeks old.when the service dealer was notified, the contact was informed the tire distributor needed to be contacted and if the distributor would provide a credit, it would be passed on to the contact.
