Bad hankook tires in which they will not repair or replace
5/31/2016 left florida traveling i95 north destination maryland, overnight in nc. Proceeded on our trip 6/1/2016 upon going onto md rt 50 traveking in 4 lanes of traffic we felt something funny.my husband made his way to the right shoulder of the highway at 12:30 pm,got out of the car and immediately checked the front passenger tires and it was shredded, and i mean shredded.being older i called the md state police for roadside assistance, after waiting i had to call them back as the jack had slipped and was now under the car, upon getting the spare on we had to proceed to get air in the tire.my husband said the back passenger tires appeared low and he put air in it also.we proceeded to get onto rt 75 (in maryland) and again after driving for approximately 15 minutes we felt something not right with the car, we again got over to the right shoulder of the 4 lane highway called state police road assistance again as the rear tire was also flat and damaged.these tires only had approximately 24,000 miles on them.hankook optimo p245/40r19 94v.at the time this occurred we had to wait for assistance as we had no other spare.we finally managed to find a shop with used 19 inch tires to mount on the ones that were destroyed and i mean shredded !we had to put out $130.00 for (2) used unmatched tires.at the time this occurred we were only (1) hour from our hotel.we did not arrive until 7:00pm.i feel as though hankook should replace all 4 of our tires at their expense!something was definitly wrong with these tires!it is a wonder that we are still here to tell out experience!
