I bought new a 2007 e350 heavy duty diesel cargo vanthat developed dangerous driving/handling condition at app 75,000 miles. Never a accident, always properly serviced, freeway driving 90% of the time , load evenly dispersed and under weight for e350. It has floaty, drifty, wandering handling at freeway speeds. Constant condition now. Dealer has had van 4-5 times and in their possession for over 40 days off and on. 3 months pursuing the problem. We have replaced bushings, coil springs, shocks, driving gear box and aligned the van 3 times. Ford tech's involved.3 months and $3000.00 expenses incurred, the problem still persists. I dropped the vehicle this week to let the dealer have one more shot to fix the problem or replace the vehicle. My service rep advised me today that the van is driving fine and that it is my imagination that the condition still persists. Argued with me , and informed me they were not going to pursue the problem any further. My ford service dept/ dealer is now flat out denying that the problem exists. At freeway speeds this vehicle is hard to drive without a white knuckle ride. Rides better because of the new shocks and springs but the floaty, wandering drivability still very present and constant at freeway speeds. There are other nhtsa complaints and bulletins regarding this very problem with my same model van. Unacceptable. Dangerous. Van also had tread separation on every factory tire including the spare at 30,000-45,000. Very dangerous.

Tuesday morning when i went out to my truck the tire looked to me to be low on air and low pressure light was on in the truck.i drove to my shop (approx. 7.2 mi.), took off the wheel to check for leaks (found non), checked the air pressure and it was at 28 lbs, i filled the tire with air to 36 lbs. The low pressure indicator light did not go out.i checked the other 3 tires and found them all to be low so i filled them with air to 36 lbs and the light went out.at the end of the day i drove home, then took my wife to dinner (approx. 5 mi.).when we pulled into the restaurant parking lot and turned right into a parking spot, the left front tire blew off the rim as i came to a stop. I am not as concerned about getting a 'free' tire as i am of the safety factor involved. I have 4 hankook tires on this truck and it concerns me that another one may blow apart (possibly at freeway speed).i do believe that this was a defective tire.i am 65 years old and i've worked on cars all my life and i've never seen a tire bead split the way this one did.i also have associates in the automotive business who after seeing the damaged tire completely agree with me.i would hate to see a repeat of the ford explorer tire problem that occurred with firestone several years back; and i hate to think there are more defective tires out there. I spoke with and emailed this information to al abrador at hankook tire and he said 'it was the fault of the person that mounted the tires', he also said that hankook has had no other complaints regarding these tires. I went to the tire shop where i've done business for the past 20 years and they said they had never seen a broken bead like this one.after looking at the nhtsa site i see there are indeed many complaints regarding hankook tires. Again, i am concerned with my own as well as public safety in this matter.

Hankook dynapro as lt245-75/16 tread separation on a 2007 ford e350 superduty van.this was the 4th occurrence of a problem with this brand / model / size tire on a single ford e350 van.one tire failure each year on average.all failures occurred at 15,000-30,000 miles, 7/32 - 10/32 tread depth, while mounted on the rear axle.

My tire valve stems were cracked and leaking on all four tires of my 2007 ford edge and the tire pressure dropped dramatically in one day.when i called my ford dealer they had no idea what i was talking about.i had to have the valve stems replaced on two tires and replace two entire tires at my own expense.

Traveling westbound in hwy 54 east of stratford, tx the left rear tire exploded on our 2008 pleasure-way rv. This rv is built on a ford e350 chassis.the vehicle immediately became uncontrollable and drifted into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer.driver steered vehicle to the right to avoid the oncoming truck, the rv crossed over the road into a ditch on the right, again turned to the left and re-entered the roadway at a sharp angle causing the vehicle to roll onto its right side. Passenger 1 sustained a broken right shoulder and back injuries, passenger 2 sustained a severely sprained wrist.tire pressure was checked before beginning the trip, and tires were visually inspected at a rest stop 90 minutes before incident. Vehicle was lightly loaded and well below gvwr.these were oem tires with less than 10,000 miles and had always been properly maintained.there was absolutely no warning before the tire failed.

1. Was driving to work in my 2007 ford edge sel with hankook tires, when the low tire pressure indicator light turned on. 2. At work, i found a tire was at 20 psi and leaking from a crack at the base of the valve stem. I inspected the three other stems and found them with cracks at the base of the valve stem.3. I took the car into the local ford dealership. They charged me for the replacement of the leaking valve stem. They did not touch the other three valve stems.the very next day, another valve stem failed and began to leak.

Tire blowout brand:hankookmodel: dynapro asmade: koreadot:t79c pjnh 4008i have had multiple problems with these tires, while driving home my front tire blew out on my 2009 ford f150 truck causing me to hit the side median which then caused my trailer tire to blow out and bent my trailer tires rim as well. When this incident occurred my truck only had a little over 3000 miles on it.i took it to my ford dealer and they argued that some one cut it. When i took it to another tire shop before they even looked at it they said that the rim on the tire had caused the cut. And it indeed was fords fault.i replaced the tire and bought a new one from discount tire. Same brand same model so it would match. Today on jan 14 2010 i took my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation, when they rotated my tires the new tire i bought had a massive ball on the inside of it. The new tire only had 3000 miles of wear.these tires are the stock tires that ford has been using on their f-150 series since 2007 and probably longer.i had a set of these tires on my 2007 f-150 and at 9000 miles they started forming balls on the tires, and the front tires began to cup outward.both trucks i have purchased from spikes ford in mission texas. When i purchased my vehicles theycame with tire road hazard warranty when i took it to ford they told me it was my problem and would not cover anything.in my opinion these problems on two separate vehicles two years apart are a firestone hazard in the making.i like ford vehicles but when someone starts putting my life and others in danger i cant tolerate that. I know that if this incident has occurred to me multiple times with two different f-150s from two different years it has occurred to others as well.

My new ford f-150 has original equipped hankook dynapro at tires. They arep235 75 r17 with the dot t79jpcyh (4010). I have a life time maintenance program on the truck and the tires have been checked and rotated at approximately every 4400 miles. With 18,500 miles on the truck and tires, i was driving about 25mph on a city street when the left rear tire blew. It had a clean tear from rim to tread. The truck has low tire pressure monitoring and i had no warning of low pressure so i know the tire was not heating up from low pressure. I did not hit anything on the street ( it is a six lane divided, well traveled street) and suddenly with a loud bang the tire went down. No help from the ford dealer on this problem. The tire dealer i went to was surprised to see passenger tires on a truck.

Flat tire with my 2007 ford edge.same valve was replaced earlier this year.flat again, ford dealership wants me to replace tire.valve was cause of flat.tire is hankook dynapro as// dot 5m7c djnh// p235 65r17103t.same complaints as on internet.

I purchased a f 150 one year ago.i went into a store only to come out to a flat tire (minutes later).i took it to mincz tire, and the problem was a faulty valve stem.the same thing happened days later.all of the valve stems are cracking and must now be replaced.later that week, i saw a television report on faulty valve stems, so i decided to report.

Ford put p-metric tire on a trailer tow package truck after driving for a hour we stop and walk around to check if every thing isokay my tire were wearing very bad i wipe my hand across the tire and had rubber in it. This atfer going through state inspection and passed this wear is on all 4 tire.

When i took my 2007 ford f150 in for tire rotation, the ford technician had said that i had cupped front tires, at that time mire tires had about 9 to 11 thousand miles on them and were only a few months old, ford would not cover the abnormal rounding of the tire and said i should buy some new ones from them.a few months later my other two tires had started forming balls on the inside side wall of the tire, which i was not aware until i went to get my state inspection sticker, the technician at pueblo tires told me i had several balls on the sides of my tires he also told me my vehicle would not pass inspection because the tread was to worn, he even showed me the tread levels with a tread meter and i verified there was not enough tread on the tires.the mileage on the truck at that time was only 15000 miles so i replaced them so it would bass inspection and for my safety and others as well..<br> when i purchased my vehicle it came with a manual stating how much air and how many miles a certain brand of tire was supposed to average mine said i should have gotten 30000 miles minimum before replacement, ford is obviously using false statistics to market these defective tires.

- the contact owns a 2004 ford f150.the vehicle was in the repair shop for a slow leak on the front passenger side tire so the mechanic plugged the tire. I purchased a 2007 ford edge sel plus, and 6 months later i kept getting a low pressure message. I would refill the tire and a day later it was low. I took it in to the dealer and the valve stem was broken, as well as 3 other cracked valve stems. They replaced them all but charged me a discounted rate of $65 for the labor. Ford refused to cover it, and i had very low miles on the car. This was frightening, knowing this was the problem with the explorer in the 1990's.

Dt*: the contact stated while driving 55 mph on the highway, the left front driver side tire sidewall separated without warning.there were no obvious road hazards present.the contact replaced the tire with a spare.the dealer and manufacturer were not alerted.the tire was a hankook, size dynapro as p235/70r17, and dot number of t79cp.

On the way to work in my new car, signal went off for low tire pressure.took to a tire place and the valve stem was leaking air at the point of the join of the tire. I have never in all my years of driving experienced such a thing.

2007 ford f150 valve stem broke and caused a blowout on the highway.after recovering from being driven off the road, i noticed that my three other tires had cracked valve stems as well.ford needs to issue an immediate recall and deal with this hazard before someone gets killed or seriously injured.

We've had two valve stem failures on a 2007 ford f-150 truck. The valve stems had multiple cracks and caused the tire to deflate. The failures occurred have occurred on both front tires.

My tire valve stems were cracked and leaking on all four tires of my 2007 ford edge and the tire pressure dropped dramatically in one day.when i called my ford dealer they had no idea what i was talking about.i had to have the valve stems replaced on two tires and replace two entire tires at my own expense.

Valve stem on ford f150 failed resulting ona flat tire on the highway.other three valve stems are currently cracking.

Flat tire with my 2007 ford edge.same valve was replaced earlier this year.flat again, ford dealership wants me to replace tire.valve was cause of flat.tire is hankook dynapro as// dot 5m7c djnh// p235 65r17103t.same complaints as on internet.

I had a valve stem failure which led to a flat tire while driving. When i took the truck in to discount tire to have it checked, they said all of the valve stems were bad and replaced them all. There was no cost to me and no damage. I saw the article in the paper about it and decided to report it for data gathering purposes.

I had filed a complaint #10229285 and nothing has be resolved to date i read others have had similar complaints and all related to ford.
