Traveling fl turnpike in palm beach county. Typical week-long heavy rain in may with standing water. Dodge ram 1500 with goodyear wrangler hp 275/60r20" tires. I was driving approx 45 mph due to rain and standing water in a 65 mph zone of the middle lane when the tires lost traction and i hydroplaned. The truck began to fishtail. Being a professional driver of a fire truck i used proper corrective techniques to compensate and avoid rollover and avoided other vehicles. I crashed into the right safety guard rail. Crash caused damage to front bumper and both front/rear 1/4 panels. Afterwards i looked up the reviews of this tire and found multiple complaints of inadequate traction during wet conditions and similar experiences.

Driving my 4 month old new 2012 ram 1500 4x4 in mid michigan after our first measurable snow fall. On the way to my ram dealer for a scheduled oil change in (four wheel drive) at 35 mph. Slid right by the dealer on the snow, tires lost any and all ability to control vehicle. Spoke to service write up girl about it, and talked to my salesman also voicing my concerns. Told them these are absolutely the worst tires i have ever drivin on the snow with bar none. Slid into my sons car when i returned home.....not happy with these tires at all. Why would they market these for a four wheel drive vehicle?
