The vehicle immediately had severe vibration in steering and suspension while driving between the speeds of 60 - 85 mph.the vehicle was immediately returned to the gm dealer several times for repairs. 12+ sets of tires were replaced in just one day.there final statement was that all the goodyear tires designed for this vehicle would not align up.a new transmission was replaced. The brakes were replaced and repaired several times.thebody electrical was repaired.the engine electrical was repaired.door panels (left & right) were replaced. The forward seats, console & dash was replaced.brakes failed several times and arecurrently bad.major vibration and shaking from day one may, 1, 2001.the vehicle vibrates during high rate of speeds.this vehicle is very dangerous and is unsafe.gmc has been contacted by our attourneys.i have had several conversations with ms [xxx], gm attourney.the cbbb has filed 2 cases against gm resultingwith still no answers or fair settlements.the brakes, tires, suspension and unknown problems still exist.the vehicle is currently at the dealers again being repaired for brakes, rotors, vibration, tires and alignment and suspension problems. Vehicle's tire had flat spots meaning the belt must be broken inside.

Of 4 tires purchased in may 2008, 3 have failed.one tire was replaced due to radial tire pull.a second was replaced due to a blister that developed on the sidewall.a third was replaced due to a flat spot that was discovered on the tread, which was found when the tire could not be balanced.all 3 tires failed within the first 6,000 miles of treadwear.tires are goodyear comfort tread.

Our motorhome had 3 separate tire failures on a trip from houston, tx to oshkosh, wi.( 2 in tx and 1 in il - both front and one dually) a goodyear dealer inspected the tires after each occurrence and said the remaining were in good condition and inflated properly.the tires were model g 670 rv.goodyear finally made a concession and replaced the tires at a drastically reduced rate, but were more worried about lawsuits than safety.

This complaint concerns goodyear a/t tires on a 2000 ford excursion.while riding in the vehicle on 7/14/09, the vehicle began to vibrate.there was a huge impact on the right side rear quarter panel.the tread had separated from the tire causing extensive damage to the right rear quarter panel.no accident or injury resulted.

The contact owns a 2010 chevrolet impala equipped with good year radial tire p225-55r17 95t, department of transportation number m643hhdr061, serial number 0266496130292535. The contact noticed the passenger front tire failed. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop who stated that the failure was located at the tire sidewall which had a leak. The dealer was contacted they advised the failure was not due to a defected side wall. The dealer stated the contact drove over an object on the road causing the tire to fail and they will not be responsible for the cost for the tire replacement. The tire was replaced. The failure mileage was 3,500 and the current mileage was 39,050.

Goodyear rs-a 245/45-r18 2006 nissan maxima:son driving home from lubbock texas to portales nm,back tire had flat he changed tire and inside side wall was torn up!it was at night so he drove home.he could not see the extent of the damage that was done based on lack of light. Next morning i got in car and i could not brake.i was lucky and managed to stop my car.i looked under car and found moisture slapped all up under the tire area of vehicle.jacked car back up and found brake line cut in half.looked in trunk and found tire blown out with wires (resembling hot wire sticking out of tire sidewall.wire was coming out. They looked like strings... But metal and lots of them! this is the radial part of tire? it wrapped around my axel and around the brake line.it also pulled the solid steal bracket the brake line was mounted to out of place.the mount was pulled down and cut through the metal of my car based on tension of the wires from tires pulling it down.my son could have been killed!!!!!!!or someone else.brake line, rim.tire all ruined. What was the scariest part is someone could have died.this tire is extremely dangerous.i have 63k on this vehicle.have replaced all tires 2 times which means i have gone through 12 tires.almost all tires replaced due to sidewall failure.two months ago i replaced another tire based on tread falling off and wrapping around the axel.these tires need to be recalled they are going to kill people!!!!! also each tire cost 266.00i have paid dearly for the tires that could have killed people!!!!please contact me if you have questions i have pictures that would frighten you!marla segoviaportales nmi will help to support your claim.this could kill your family or someone else.if he was only farther away from home his brake fluid would have been completely gone and he was traveling at highway speeds.extremely dangerous!!!!!please do something about this tire!!!

Volvo truck with the left tire defects. Consumer states that she put a claim into goodyear and they told her they denied it without any reasonable explanation.the consumer stated the left front tire could not be balanced. Goodyear denied the claim because the invoice read the tire had worn down to the cord, and the problem was not caused by workmanship or material conditions, therefore it was not subject to warranty replacement.

The contact owns a 2012 forest river tracer prime time (na) equipped with goodyear radial tires, size: st205/75r14 (na). While driving 60 mph, the contact heard a loud noise coming from the rear of the trailer. The contact pulled over to the side of the road. The contact called roadside assistance who came out and changed the rear passenger tire on the trailer. On september 4, 2019, the front passenger tire exploded. Later that day, the rear driver's side tire also explored. The trailer was taken to goodyear auto service (located at 50 n dobson rd, mesa, az 85201, (480) 962-4205) where it was diagnosed that the undercarriage, weatherproofing, and styrofoam installation needed to be repaired. The trailer was not repaired. The contact decided to change all four tires on his own. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The vehicle and tire failure mileage were unknown.*as

Problem with van having uneven weight distribution on front end.i have located 5 other people in area with same problem.have been a gm customer for 60+ yrs. Never had to replace tires at 25,000 miles. Others are having to do the same.tire dealer reports frequent replacement issue is appearing with this model van.is this a manufacturing defect?tires were rotated approx. Every 10,000 miles initially then at 5000 and then at 1000 mi.this must be defect if others are having same problems.we have a buick rendezvous - 04 - tires are rotated in same fashion - has 45,000+ miles and tires are showing not wear.please investigate.thank you.

Goodyear tire were purchased about 1 year ago, the tire have a lot of tread to it but the sidewalls have many cracks and dry rot.the manufacturer offer a unreasonable sum of money to be put to purchase new tires. These tires are a danger to the roads. Also why would i buy tires from the same manufacturer as sold me these tires.

I have had 4 flat tires while driving in the past year with radial gt, ultra hp 4, size 185/60r14 on a 1999 mazda miata.one in october 2006, another in may 2007 and 2 more today (7/5/07).all flat tires were from small holes between the tread and sidewall.the first 2 were the right rear.today, both the left rear, and 15 minutes later, the right rear went flat.if this happened once, or even twice, i'd think it was a coincidence.but in 25 years of driving, i've never had a tire go completely flat while driving.4 tires in one year seems kind of odd.these tires have less than 20,000 miles on them and probably had at least half the tread left.there was no damage or close calls because of these, but i had to change tires on busy freeways for 2 of these flat tires.thank you.

Dt:contact states that the goodyear tires on her vehicle are cracking.one tire is cracking on both sides, three are on the inside of the tire.dealership told consumer that cracked tires were good. Consumer had to replace all the tires.*sb

Goodyear radial ht, 235 75/r15, replacement tires for firestone recall. Blowout at less than 1000 miles. Went to goodyear dealer , was told after dealer made a few calls, that this tire was a low grade tire made for montgomery ward, and hard to come by in his area. Consumer contacted firestone, no response from firestone.

2002 silhouette, 39000 miles.front wheel bearings failed.had repaired, within 50 miles after picking up from dealership, there was a grinding when turning right.both heated seats didn't heat.driver'sside window operated extremely slow. Intake manifold gasket neededreplacement!, $1000!,39000 miles folks!air suspension did not operate crackled.power doors didnot open when something gotin the way. Bruised shoulder because of this. Premature tire wear, replacedtires at 30,000 miles.all scheduled maintenance done. Stored in a garage more highway miles than city.how did gm want to help me?dealer did paperwork when purchasing, tried to push off a cheaper model on an elderly women, and changed the promised 5 year warranty to a 3 year warranty.mother was just so happy she got the right vehicle to take home, she never noticed the change in the warranty.tried to work with the dealer on repairs since therewere only 39000 miles, and we got a 'gee, really sorry ma'am, i understood, but there wasn't anything we coulddo about it.went to the gm service line, and did not get any help there either, but she had a real purdy first name!seemed to me thesewere all recurring premature known failures , yet gm did not care to stand behind their product! it wasa shame they pushed the 5 year warranty so extensively when they had all these vehicles on their lots.people, we've been had.i grew up in oldsmobile, but the more i read about gm - the more likely i am to buy toyota! the good news is that i found a dealer (not close to home though) that was willing to at least repair the first set of wheel bearings for $100.got that on my own, not through gm service help.i just hope they will be as nice for the next set of wheel bearings that need replacement and for the gasket that was just discovered. Still waiting to hear from gm on the other issues. (not as an immediate need as the wheel bearings)i'm not holding my breath.

The rear left tire on our pickup truck blew the tread layer off down to the core of the tire.the pickup had abs brakes, but without the tread on the tire, control of the vehicle was completely lost, and the truck went headfirst into a concrete highway divider causing the truck to be totaled and injuries to both the driver and the passenger.the truck was towed away and the tire is no longer available to obtain information regarding origin.the tires were 255/15 goodyear radials.we do have a photo of the tire, however, after towing the exploded tread is gone and only the core remains.

The goodyear radial atx tire on the vehicle experienced tread separation which caused extensive damage to the vehicle's left side.*mjs

Goodyear, m+s lt radial, loadrange e, p245/75r16, dot mk11rt0v417, original equipment on a 1998, dodge, ram with 60000 miles. While driving 50-55right rear tire had tread separation.

We have '05 buick terazza van - tire wear has been unsatisfactory - cupping noticed at 18,000 miles and ongoing.dealer recommended rotating tires - done to no avail.cupping continued and became worse.actually cutting tire.dealer reported that it was the manf.

While driving at speeds between 50-60 mph vehicle vibrated.the dealer determined that the vibration was caused but tire treadseparation.

Transmission has failed repeatedly even after complete rebuild.have also had tread separation in tires on 5 separate occasions

On 5/3/2003, my wife experienced a high speed blowout (@75 mph) driving a 2000 toyota avalon. She controlled the vehicle and there was no accident. The tire was one of 4 purchased 9/11/2002, and had about 10000 miles on it. The tire is a goodyear integrity 205/65r15.the tire tread with road surface casing intact entirely separated from the side walls. There was no evidence of prior damage such as nails or cuts. The other three tires were examined by the dealer and were found to be properly inflated. The dealer replaced the tire at no charge. My concern is whether these tires are safe or not. The dealer kept the tire. Please advise. We have a high speed blow out with no apparentexplanation. Is there a past history?

Purchased in july of 1996 only put on 26,345 milesmotor mount repaired twice, brakes front replaced they were completly gone ,back brakes are no good need to be replaced, high pitch squealing comes from them ,oil gasgets had to be replaced, stearing to a hard right or left you get a grinding noise, transmission is know leaking constantly having to put transsmission fluid inall the timehave a list of papers from the car being serviced at daimler on andover st in peabody were i purchased caralso wrote to main office to see if they would replace the vehicle after purchasing with cash and just got the run around know i am afraid to drive her that is why she only has 26,345 miles on her in 10 years i am not a rich person so i can not afford another car if there is a recall on any of these problems i would like to know so they can be fixed so i can drive her without worrying what will happen next also dampness and mildew smell and other problems.tires also were replaced they wore toquickly.

I experienced three flat ultra hp 4 goodyear tires on three different tires on my 1996 toyota corolla due to faulty valve stems in an approximate 4 month period (may 2005 - august 2005).the tires were purchased in january of 2005 from the goodyear dealer in sacramento, ca.i was not injured because of the flat tires.in two cases help arrived quickly, but in the july 2, 2005 incident i was stranded for six hours and it was a very frustrating and upsetting experience because my car was impounded from the highway and i had to pay a parking citation because the tow truck driver under the goodyear contract never responded to my call. When i complained to goodyear, the gentleman at the counter in the sacramento office told me there had a been a bad batch of valve stems around christmas-time 2004.they replaced my valve stems with 4 metal, truck-type valve stems and i have had no problems since.however, it has taken my two months to try and get reimbursement from goodyear for the impound and citation charges i experienced.until last week, when i said i thought this was a serious issue and would be complaining about it, i had been told that my claim had been denied, except for the $10 tire repair i eventually was able to get on 7/2.this week a new representative made contact with me and i may be refunded my expenses.

This acr is very bad news and i am fighting to get rid of it now and ford should be investigated for selling a vehicle this unsafe and i will never purchase from ford again.when i took this focus in for repair i was told that since it is so new that there isnt a mechanic that really knows how to fix it and that they will get back to me when they find one that can.this is very poor service with a very poor and unsafe car.please look into this for all the people that will have to go througfh this as well .thank you very much.melissa. No safety defect mentioned in summary.( dot number: )
