Goodyear f1 ultra performance all season - purchased 06 mercedes with tires already installed - sales person stated they mounted the new tires. Right front tire out of round determined by mechanic at dealership car was purchased. Service manager stated that he was waiting to find tires to match - have not communicated since - noted on web sites that the specified tires have been replace by dealers that sold them as a courtesy by goodyear to maintain customer satisfaction - called goodyear dealership in town - not aware of goodyear's replacement of tires.
My clutch started slipping around 36000 miles. I hadn't thought anything about it at first, thinking it was my imagination as i had the car only 3 years. (2006 kia spectra5. I purchased it at the end of november 2006 with 7 miles on it.).well, 4000 miles later i am told it needs the entire clutch and flywheel replaced.i have driven manual cars for years.the warranty will not cover the replacement ($1300) even though it is 10 yr/100000 miles as they consider the clutch "a wear item".i tried to argue with the dealer that it wasn't wear after just 3years.i tried to complain to corporate but the number is bogus (800-333-4541).i have replaced the front tires twice in 3 years.good year eagles and the brakes twice. It is a front wheel drive.

I purchased eagle f1 (235/50zr18) tires from the corporate goodyear store in richmond, virginia on april 3, 2008.in less than one year, four tires were replaced due to cupping.i researched the internet and discovered other complaints about eagle f1 cupping issues.now, two additional eagle f1 tires have cupped.i have paid a prorated cost for four additional tires, now two additional tires have cupped.i discovered customers who purchased goodyear eagle f1 tires from tire rack received four new tires at no cost plus a $100 per tire payment to offset tire mounting, freight and balancing.to date, i have spent $1,995.99 for eight eagle f1 tires with cupping issues.goodyear offered to replace the four eagle f1s currently on my car with four non eagle f1 tires for $722.00.goodyear denies a tire recall. The manager indicated the eagle f1s as one of goodyears best tires, however, they are no longer on display in his store.goodyear has yet to offer adequate compensation based on that received by customers of tire rack, which is not a goodyear corporate store.
The contact owns a 1991 chevrolet corvette with goodyear eagle f1 all season tires, size 275/40zr17 , dot number: mkx26fhr10007.the contact stated that all four valve stems fractured while driving over 5 mph. An authorized goodyear dealer diagnosed that the valve stems were defective and would need replacing. The failure was not repaired. The failure mileage was 53,000 and the vin was not available.

Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric all season tire blew out while driving down winchester road in temecula, ca at 45 mph around 6:45pm. There was a loud pop, followed by the tps warning that the rear passenger tire had 1 psi of air left. The car was brought to a stop on the side of the road immediately. After being towed from the side of the road and it was discovered upon inspection that the inner side wall had failed.

While driving on highway, rf tire separated (sidewall from tread) instantaneously. Tire was changed with spare. 10 minutes later lf tire blew out. Because vehicle is awd, all 4 tires needed to be replaced immediately.
