We took delivery of a new american eagle 42 ' 11. Foot motor home model 42f on may 21, 2008this vehicle is designed to carry 14,600 lb. If fully loaded this would create a dangerous situation.if you loaded this motor home to full capacity of water, fuel, passenger (2) weights the front axle would exceed the rating on the front axle.upon reviewing our motorhome for he first time on may 21, 2008 (we were not allowed to view motorhome until contracts were signed)we noticed that the new models 2009 american eagle had bigger rims, tires and after further inquiry the front axle had been changed from 14600 lb to 16600we contactedfleetwood and asked why these changes were made.we were told that there was a overweight problem if we carried full capaticy on fuel, water and they recommended that we carry less fuel & waterl, cargo, propane when traveling.we were also told that the problem was under investigation and that the issue would be corrected.to date an offer has been made by spartan chassis that they would correct the problem if we drove 2500 miles to michigan one way, and paid $18995.00 to have the rims, tires, and axle upgraded to be in compliance with the 2009 motorhomes.fleetwood and spartan know and knew that they had a problem which is why they upgraded the 2009 coaches to correct the front axle weight problem.

I have a 2007honda civic lx. Today i took it to meinike to get my oil change and tires rotated. There was no tread left on the inner tires. I've rotated my tires every 6k miles and now i'm at 28k miles. The mechanic said i don't even know how you made it here. He didn't want to put them back on because their worn to the core. There is also no tread left. I didn't even know, but when i did a google search i found there was a recall on it. Honda said they wouldn't pay to have the tires fixed from their defect.

On july 30, 2008 i was sold 2 new tires by walmart after only 20,000 miles on a 60,000 mile warranty. On august 2, 2008 i had to take the car to big o tires because the air was low in my new front tire.. Big o discovered 2 nails in my back sidewalls. The front driver side new tire had no new valve stem. The rim of that tire was bent (and should have been caught 4 days prior and would not allow the seal and the air could not stay in the tire. The passenger side tire had not been properly seated and could result in a serious accident if i were to hit anything. All of these things should have been apparent 4 days earlier. I am writing to express my serious concern for the safety of the walmart patrons and a serious problem for the goodyear tire company. ?there were 2 nails in my back side-wall that would have been visible when the car was raised. ?there was a bent front driver side wheel that would have been easy to see and alert me to 4 days prior (and i paid for a 16 point inspection).?the right front tire was not seated, thus making me vulnerable to having a flat tire immediately upon any impact.?i had no new valve stems on my new tires in the front.?any and all of this information can be verified by witnesses and the staff at walmart and at big o tire center. ?below you will find both addresses and telephone numbers.?please do something about this flagrant disregard for the health and safety of consumers, their passengers, and people who might be driving on the same road when a tire blows out, falls off, or deteriorates! i have the work order for july 30, 2008 and a statement in writing from big o tires.walmart service center4210 east highland avehighland, ca 92346big o tire at 2536 e. In august of 2006, i purchased a 2006 honda civic from bob howard automall in oklahoma city, oklahoma.little did i know that this car was flawed from the beginning and honda america knew it and did nothing to let any consumers know about this defect.the flaw in the car is that the rear axle is flawed and is causing tires to wear abnormally, thus causing flats and blowouts that consumers are unaware off.currently there is no fix and honda is unwilling to warrant any of the additional damage that their mistake has caused.this car that we own has had two blowouts on the rear tires and additional damage that was caused when we had to jump curbs to get out of the city traffic flow.now honda america wants to keep this flaw quiet and let consumers foot the bill for tires and any damage that this flaw from the manufacture has caused.honda still has no fix and expects consumers to be aware of the problems.cheers and concerned citizen

The contact owns a 2003 oldsmobile alero.the vehicle has goodyear american eagle, size p225/50r16 (na) tires.the sidewalls of the tires are cracking.between the side and upper tread of the tires, the cracks are extending and causing massive tread separation.the contact notified the place of purchase (wal-mart) and they stated that they were not responsible for the defect and/or returns for defects.wal-mart referred him to goodyear; however, they were closed for the holidays.the tire failure mileage was 25,000 and the vehicle failure mileage was 70,000.
