Brakes pulsate very bad slowing down on highway, also two front tires almost baald on both outer edges. Dealer says tires not rotated enough, and brake rotors are warpednot covered
The contact owns a 2006 toyota corolla equipped with goodyear all season tires. The contact stated while sitting idle with the brakes depressed, the vehicle abnormally accelerated resulting in a crash. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer but was not examined for the cause of failure. Repairs were made to the body damage only. The failure continued to recur intermittently and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer approximately three times where an unknown service was performed on the throttle. The failure did not recur since the throttle repair. In addition, the contact stated that the tires were wearing prematurely. The dealer confirmed that the tires exhibited premature wear. The tires were replaced and the failure did not recur. The contact also stated there was an unusual increase in braking distance and in order to stop the vehicle, he would have to apply steady, repeated pressure on the brakes before they would engage. The failure mileage was 200 and the current mileage was 34,000.

Truck shakes between 45 and 60. Does it all the time. Took to gmc dealer and they check it out and said it was the way the truck was get used to it. Called detroit and got the same thing. It's not right. It all started with around 14,000 miles .the truck didn't do it at all until then. The service station that i use to service it found the tires to be out of round and the sidewalls were coming undone. Put a new set of tires on and it helped a little bit but not a great deal. They also told me to put weight in the box to help. I tried and it didn't help. All i want is the truck made right.
Car vibrates and shakes when traveling on the hwy at speeds between 60-70. Dealer took the car for a road tested and confirmed that the problem does exist and that the tires are extremely noisy!!he said i should wait until i need new tires ,and buy special micheline 's.this is not an acceptable solution!! the tires should be replaced with no expense to me!!( dot number: tire size: p225/60r16 )

Less than 19,000 miles on the2004 chrysler pt cruiser and the wheel bearings on front went bad. The driver's side was so bad i did not drive it further than a block from work , the closest place.they charged me $313.00 to fix the driver's side. The next day, i found outt he car was still under warranty ,bought it second hand. I took it to the dealership, and they confirmed the passenger'sside was also going bad and replaced it and the damaged hub. Chrysler will not reimburse me the $313.00 because it was not fixed at a dealership. The driver's side hub was not replaced, and they will not cover this under warranty either. This should be under warranty as well. A car with less than 19,000 miles should not have bad wheel bearings already.the driver's side was so bad thatthe wheel could have seized or fallen off and causeda serious injury or death to myself and/or others on the interstate.all four tireshave some kind of defect, and the front tires have worn unevenlydue to the damaged wheel bearings. Chrysler will not replace front tires under warranty.

While driving 65 mph, the rear passenger side tire blew out.no impact reported. The tire blewout on the highway. *tc
Tire slowly leaking air, tire was removed and taken to a service station on two occasions where there was no sign of leaking. Final time tire was taken to the station it was flat and they said that the side wall was defective.
The contact owns a 2009 honda accord equipped with goodyear advantage ta (na) tires, size: 225/50/r17 (na). While driving at approximately 20 mph, there was a loud noise and an abnormal smell emitted as the vehicle veered to the left. The vehicle was merged over to the side of the road, where the contact observed that the treads separated around the entire rear passenger side tire. The tire was replaced with a spare. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or diagnosed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate vehicle failure mileage was 96,810 and the tire failure mileage was 25,000.
Coming back from new york on 95 north i hit a hugepothole when i was switching lanes. As i stopped to take a look i noticed a bulge on the sidewall of my right front tire and the rim is damaged. It is not fixable and the tire need to be replaced!

Potential for failure: on aug 15, 2006, i purchased a set of 4 goodyear weather handler tiresfrom a national chain store.on examining these tires, i saw that 3 were made in 2006 and 1 in 2004. (date codes: mdxo wkhr 2806 - 2; mdxo wkhr 2106 - 1; and mkxo wkhr 4304.)the rubber on the 2004 tire does not feel as "live" as the rubber on the 2006 tires.i am concerned that this will adversely affect the handling and traction balance of the car.the 2004 tire is already 40% into the aging cycle.i have requested the store to replace the 2004 tire--for the reasons given here.they are not responding to my request.i would like to know what guidelines the nhtsa has ( or recommends ) for a situation like this--where the tires in the replacement set are not of the same age.thank you for your assistance in this matter.
The contact owns a 1999 dodge caravan equipped with goodyear tires, tire line: all season assurance, tire size: 215/65/r15, dot number: md5ujv1r2317. The contact stated while driving, the vehicle pull to the left and then to the right. The contact stated the front passenger side tire was defective. The vehicle was taken to tire shop and was informed to the front passenger tire needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired as of yet. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 56,172.
Traveled approximately 120 miles from home.upon arriving at the destination, i noticed the right rear tire was extremely low with as estimated 10 p.s.i. Air pressure remaining.knowing that i had two previous tire blowouts on this vehicle due to cracked valve stems and occurring within the previous 4 months, i moved the valve stem slightly back and forth and noticed air escaping from the area where the stem seats against the aluminum wheel.i put some soap bubbles around the stem and confirmed that air was escaping from a crack in the valve stem.reference odi #'s 10254187 and 10254189 as a reference on the previous two valve stem issues on same vehicle. Spare installed.visited the tire dealership where the four new replacement tires were installed 2 years, 8 months and 26,068 miles prior.no punctures, tears or cuts were found anywhere on the tire tread or sidewall. The only known cause of the low tire was a cracked valve stem in the area where the stem seats against the aluminum wheel allowing air to exhaust quickly from the tire once the crack propagated to inside.a new valve stem was installed.the left rear tire valve stem was also replaced at this time to avoid a future problem.cracked valve stem information; tr 413, eha germany.
2012 bmw 535 xdrive 27000 miles. 2.5 inch bubble on right frontsidewall, crack on sidewall of rear tire.
I have a 2004 nissan maxima, it came with goodyear tires. The tires now make very loud road noise. The dealer, after 3 or 4 trips advised the road noise was due to a bent rim. (the car has never been driven roughly, bent rim must have been from ordinary driving and/or average pot hole). I had the bent rim fixed. However, the loud road noise continues. The dealer says there is no recall on these tires & tells me i need to take the issue withthe tire dealership, or manufacturer. They evidently refuse to back the products, they put on their new cars, they sell on their lots. I also had a defective strut on the right rear. It took three trips to the dealership, before the problem was finally found. And then a fourth trip, to have it fixed, once they had ordered & received the part.it's too bad such a potentially great car, has created such a bad experience for me, a first time nissan buyer. This, due to lack of support from nissan motors & lack of quality control on suspensions & tires. I will never purchase another nissan automobile, due to this experience & lack of product backing by the manufacturer.
The tires of the new 2019 honda accord were fixed by the dealer shop:northside honda at 9100 san pedro avenue san antonio, tx 78216 (210) 988-9644 but the deteriorating condition of the tires continues
Traveling at approximately 65 mph when right front tire near instantly deflated causing total tire failure before the vehicle could be pulled to side of road.tire sidewall was totally destroyed.spare installed. Visited the tire dealership where the four new replacement tires were installed 2 years, 5 months and 23,911 miles prior.no punctures, tears or cuts were found anywhere on the tire tread or sidewall. The only known cause of the tire failure was a cracked (cut) valve stem (as documented by dealership) in the area where the stem seats against the aluminum wheel allowing air to exhaust quickly from the tire once the crack propagated to inside.a new tire was installed along with a new valve stem.cracked valve stem information; tr 413, eha germany.this was the second time (within 900 miles) that a tire blowout occurred due to what appears to be a bad valve stem.cracked valve stem was saved for reference.

Bought four goodyear assurance triple tread tires (warranty for 80,000 - 85,000 miles) at belle tire in june '05.(tires never felt right.)by november '05, after only 10,000 miles, tires were worn to the tread bar.belle tire blamed everything except the tire, went to 3 different locations and waited over two weeks for problem to be 'resolved'.issue was not resolved to customer satisfaction.also, belle tire charged for an alignment in june '05, when in fact the location did not have the proper equipment to do the alignment (german-engineered vehicles require special equipment).belle tire refused to reimburse the alleged 'alignment'.
I am complaining about the rims on my buick. I constantly have flat or low tires. I had a few mechanics look at my tires and they said the aluminum on the rim is peeling off. So that means that i need to buy new rims and that is expensive. It started out once in a while but now i fill up my tires every three or four days.

Tire went flat sitting over night. Goodyear assurance tire inner belt broke and protruded through sidewall of tire while parked in drive way. If this would have happened on the road it could of caused a blowout and possibly injuries or even fatalities. Goodyear is offering to pay 50% of new goodyear tire.
The manufacturerput the wrong size tires on the vehicle. It was told to the consumer at 24,000 miles that tires were worn out. Consumer could not get the right tire for the vehicle. Goodyear wrangler, st all season, p22575r16, 104s, weight rating 1984 maximum......goodyear tires wore out at 23000 miles. Consumer claimed that he was told by goodyear that he should get 60000 to 70000 miles on that tire. In checking for replacements both b.f.goodrich and michelin refused to put their tires on consumer's vehicle. They stated that their tire must have a rating of 106s.
Tire complaint.
Excessive outer tire wear( dot number: tire size: p22515rs )
4 goodyear assurance comfortread tires are worn out at 31,000 miles. These are advertised and warranty for 80,000 miles. The tires were balanced and rotated periodically at sears where the tires were purchased. Car's alignment was periodically checked. Car was used primarily for non-city driving. Sears indicates that the tires are worn out and it is not caused by vehicle problems as they are uniformly worn on all 4 tires.

Hi;i just want to report my incident with my suv ford escape, model 2002 , the truck was on fire form the front side of it.
I leased a 2007 chevy silverado lt-1500 pickup and the valve stem on a tire was bad i see ford has a problem with theirs? is there a pattern forming here?
Driving on interstate 21 in ohio. I heard a funny noise coming from driver side back. Doing 60 miles an hour and my back driver side tire blew out. No accident.
We have had 5 goodyear allegra tires blow out there sidewalls within 14 months. This incident happened in a 45 mph zone.vehicle has been checked for alignment after each incident mechanical says vehicle has no mechanical problems.
Coming back from new york on 95 north i hit a hugepothole when i was switching lanes. As i stopped to take a look i noticed a bulge on the sidewall of my right front tire and the rim is damaged. It is not fixable and the tire need to be replaced!
Tire slowly leaking air, tire was removed and taken to a service station on two occasions where there was no sign of leaking. Final time tire was taken to the station it was flat and they said that the side wall was defective.
Bulges have appeared in the sidewalls of two of the four goodyear potenza tires on our 2005 toyota prius.i can provide photos.the tires were maintained by having them rotated and pressure checked at 5,000-mile intervals by the toyota dealer.the car has been driven only on paved streets and roads.current mileage on the car is 13,000.i have elected to replace all four tires with michelins.
2012 bmw 535 xdrive 27000 miles. 2.5 inch bubble on right frontsidewall, crack on sidewall of rear tire.
The tires are wearing out very quickly and the tread is starting to separate.
Brakes pulsate very bad slowing down on highway, also two front tires almost baald on both outer edges. Dealer says tires not rotated enough, and brake rotors are warpednot covered

Left rear tire separated without warning while going 50-55mph.rubber was flapping around the tire whenconsumer glanced through rearview mirror due to vehicle riding roughly.goodyear was contacted.aftermarket tires, p255/70r16 with 10,000 miles.
Traveling at approximately 65mph when left front tire near instantly deflated causing total tire failure before the vehicle could be pulled to side of road.tire sidewall was totally destroyed.spare installed. Visited the tire dealership where the four new replacement tires were installed 2 years, 4 months and 23,032 miles prior.no punctures, tears or cuts were found anywhere on the tire tread or sidewall. The only known cause of the tire failure was a cracked valve stem in the area where the stem seats against the aluminum wheel allowing air to exhaust quickly from the tire once the crack propagated to inside.a new tire was installed along with a new valve stem.cracked valve stem information; tr 413, eha germany.

I am complaining about the rims on my buick. I constantly have flat or low tires. I had a few mechanics look at my tires and they said the aluminum on the rim is peeling off. So that means that i need to buy new rims and that is expensive. It started out once in a while but now i fill up my tires every three or four days.
Repeated incidents of unusual tire wear; this vehicle now has 21,900 miles on it and it is on literally its third set of tires.the tires keep cupping and causing the van to become misaligned; caribou ford has had this vehicle in its shop in excess of 10 times for this and other related problems.the shift cable then broke (thankfully) when i was stopped in a parking lot, and the vehicle was in park.i don't know what i would have done if i'd been on the highway or elsewhere, moving.please let me know if you have had any similar complaint concerning the tire wear/misalignment problem.the vehicle vibrates significantly at highway speeds and lower as a result of this problem, which i do consider a safety problem.you can literally see the steering wheel shake.i appreciate your investigating this problem.thank you for your time.( dot number: tire size: p215/7 )
