Read complaints for GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO WRGLR SILENT ARMOR (Unknown)

Goodyear silent armor tire is prematurely failing in its sidewall and / the continuity of the product's integrity is compromised.this has already led to a premature blowout in the highway (defined as the exact same reason for the current goodyear silent armor recall and nevada lawsuit)and can be seen on two of the 3 remaining tires.the only exception is that this was on a tires produced in 05-10 (one of them) and 11/10 (one of them).i took pictures of the blown tire and of the remaining tires awaiting an opportunity to provide to consul.

I was driving from atlanta, ga to columbia, sc. About 2 hours into the trip, there was a sudden noise and clicking sound (later discovered to be the tire hitting the axle). When the car was examined at a mechanics, it was discovered that the tread interior wall began to separate. The part was replaced. The old part is no longer available, though there are photos.

The tire developed a "slow leak" at 16,500 miles since installation. The tire dealer removed the tire and found the tire to have a 2-3 inch slice in the outer skin of the sidewall which ran parallel to and closest to the rim (as opposed to the tread). It was very apparent there was total seperation of the outer sidewall from the inner ribbing yet there was only a slow leak of psi.

I observe the voluntary recall issues by goodyear (nhtsa 12t0030000) and since i own a 4 wheel set of those tires on my ford f-250 super duty, i noticed that my size wasn't listed. I have had trouble with my set of silent armor tires in that they can not be balanced as they should be and very pronounced cracks have appeared on the side walls close to the tread line. I limit my speed to no more than 50mph. My tires were purchased in september, 2009 and if i could crawl under my truck in search of the production dates, i'm sure they would be in or close to the listed production dates. The problem appears to be with the silent armor production technology and should not be recalled in such a narrow date range or size range.please expand the recall to all sizes and a broader production date range.
