We have had 5 flat tires in the last month on a 2007 jeep wrangler unlimited. We did not find anything in the tire and it never has been anyplace that the other vehicle does not go. Tires are goodyear wrangler sr-a p245/75r16.

I had two almost fatal accidents as the result of the good year wrangler hp tires i had on my 2001 dodge truck.good year had me send on each event the tires that created a blow out, for no reason at all, they even had me complete a full proper damage claim because they were settling on these tires and all the issues people have.my case was automatically denied, they told me that in both cases i ran over something, but admitted that they never looked at the tire, they didn't have time.so, the auto deny everyone, i guess because not enough people have died as the result to their faulty product (tires), i have replaced all my tires with michelins and have incurred an out of packet expense of $2500, for tires and damages.the money is not the issue; but more importantly that good year needs to recall the tires, or is the percent of deaths or injuries within their allowed threshold?who makes them accountable for a bad product that will kill and hurt more people, family and children?i don't know what it takes for someone to stand up and say to the large corps of the world that they need to be accountable and that they need and should recall these tires, not just provide small settlements for damages, but do something that will save lives,,, please let me know what i need to do to be heard,, people need to know the facts and dangers of these tires.

We had a total tire failure on our 2013 dodge ram tire. They are goodyear p27560r20 sr-a this tire blew out at 60 mph on a state hiway in near burnsor.the road was clear of any objects. This tire split from bead coil to bead coil, in a perfectly straight line. I have contacted gy and their response was the old firestone two step. Not our problem. There was 5000 miles (about) on the tire at the time and most on this trip. Had 4 tire shop look at the tire on this trip trying to get a replacement. All the tiremen that seen the tire said they had never senn anything like this before. I have also found other on complaint sites that tell the same story. Please look into this before someone gets killed. I will try to get the other to file a complaint also.

While driving on the highway at 70 mph my husband noticed our 1999 ford explorer not driving right. He pulled onto a side road to take the scenic route home. He was going 50 mph, with our 3 year old in the car, and the sidewall blew completely off the tire. The entire sidewall separated from the tread and bead. Thank goodness it was the back passenger tire that blew otherwise the outcome would have been different. As it was nobody was hurt. He could barely control the suv as it was. The tire has only barely 6000 miles on it. When we called the store where it was purchased they said even though we paid for the road hazard we still had to pay for a new tire.

Brought a 2001 chevy silverado 1500 in for a slow leak in the front drivers side tire. Upon mechanic tacking tire off the vehicle the inspection revealed the inside side wall seam is separating and actually has a gaps measuring 3/16' wide by a few inches long all along the seam. Upon further inspection the rear tire on the drivers side also reveals the same side wall separation tears in the seam. This is a goodyear wrangler sr-a , p245-75-16. With a manufacturers date of 2009.

Goodyear tire, wrangler sr/a, lt235/80r17e, manufacturer 1503, bsw. Tire sidewall has extreme cracks on both sidewalls for a distance of 1 1/2 inches up from the rim of the tire, this problem is known as the" goodyear smile".the tires(7), are mounted on my 2003 dodge ram p/u (drw) 3500 as oem tires. This cracking is so extreme that i can actually push my finger nail into the cracks by about 2/16th's of an inch. Goodyear tire store dealers have told me that this is an ozone defect and not a material defect, this truck has been garaged all its life when not in use. I have observed many other trucks with the same problem manufactured by the same company. In fact, the (5) goodyear tires lt235/85r16e that were installed as oem tires on my 2004 hitchhiker (nuwa) 5th wheel trailer were replaced by goodyear for cracking between the ribs length ways.i still have 7/32nds of tire tread left on these tires. The cracking is a manufacturing defect and they do have to be replaced before i can tow my trailer again as i am afraid that one or more of them will blow while on the road.

On may 2nd ,2010, my wife and son heard an explosion outside in our driveway. When they went out to see what it was , they found the spare tire on the back of our 2002 jeep liberty had blown up. It is a goodyear wrangler tire made in 2002. It has only been used once for a couple hundred miles which brings me to the other reason for my complaint. Last fall while driving to a marlins game in miami as i was accelerating on an on ramp getting on to i 95 the left rear tire exploded through the sidewall and ripped apart. This tire was less than a year old as we had bought a complete set of 4. This tire again was a goodyear wrangler. My wife is now afraid to drive the car and i have a 15 year old about to get his license. I reported this tire failure to your website when it happened. Other than a notice that it was received i really didn't learn anything else. I would like to know if there is an on going problem with these tires as i fear they seem to explode at will for no good reason. Could someone respond.
