I have had numerous issues with unusual wearand/or blowouts on the tires of my 2008 chevy impala. I first started having issue with tires in dec 2008 and still continue til this day. When i questioned if there was a possibility it was the vehicle and not the tires, i was told by the dealership in 2010, it was faulty 'factory installed' tires. I have replaced more than once all the tires on my vehicle. Now i find out that gm has recalled police issue 2008 impalas but not those for the everyday consumer.
I have a 2007 honda pilot ex. There were a couple of incidents that the brake/ oem tires (goodyear made integrity) are not responsive well during sudden braking on dry road. The tires was not able stop the car from slipping and cause the abs brake to be active. I contact honda dealer a couple times and were told that the condition was normal for this car, no problem found.i then replaced all tires to michelin. Now the car braking is much more responsive.
Purchased 4 new tires . Have had 3 incidences of stem failure resulting in flat tires.tire stems were replaced at tire kingdom, place of purchase.
I own a 2006 toyota highlander limited hybrid, bought new, currently with 40,000 miles. This vehicle has gone through two sets of tires.the original tires, goodyear integrity tires, were under warranty for 50,000 miles, were replaced at 23,390 miles. At the time, i contacted both toyota and goodyear to advise them of the premature tire wear. Toyota was dismissive, saying it was not their problem. Goodyear honored their warranty and issued credit on a replacement set of goodyear integrity tires.the second set of tires was replaced on january 5, 2010 with only 15,579 miles on them.in the first replacement, my out-of-pocket costs were $445.62; recent costs were $547.12; total out-of-pocket costs for replacing prematurely worn goodyear tires: $992.74i am bringing this matter to your attention for three reasons: 1) unless i am the only 2006 toyota highlander limited hybrid owner with this issue, i believe the evidence shows that the specified tires are inappropriate for the vehicle, and they may present a safety hazard, or at the very least, a great inconvenience to the owner; (2) i believe having to replace tires twice on a vehicle with 40,000 miles on it is both highly unusual and onerous; (3) goodyear may be overstating their tire mileage estimates, a warranty fora tire with 50,000 miles when in fact, it may only get half that if not less.i respectfully ask that you investigate this matter, in the interest of consumer safety and satisfaction. As for myself, i seek reimbursement from both toyota and goodyear for having to replace two sets of tires on a vehicle with only 40,000 miles on it.thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Please don't hesitate to contact me should you require any additional information.
3 exploded tires with only 60,000mi on them and all within 6mos.total blowouts without significant treadwear.tires had to be replaced, totaling $348.61.one of the used tires is still available for inspection.no wear or wobble or any signs leading up to failure.
Goodyear integrity tires have little or no traction in wet conditions causing a loss of vehicle control
I had a goodyear runflat tire that was oem and less than 2 yrs. Old w/ 20,000 miles bubble on the sidewall. It was replaced at discount tire. The tire cost $257 on a 2009 mini cooper s. These tires are defective. Tires are excellence rof and not integrity since your site mistakenly does not give the correct option.
