My parents ford fusion se came with goodyear eagle ls tires.me failed turning out of a driveway shortly after my parents took delivery on the car.in april 2017, the right front tire suddenly failed requiring both front tires to be replaced.in august 2017, the new front right goodyear eagle ls tire developed bbbles on the side wall and suddenly failed necessitating another replacement. Please note that tire failed at 2,280 miles, now both goodyear eagle ls tires are bald at the shoulders just six months later.i contacted goodyear who offered us a mere $$47.95 for one failed tire and $32.88 for the other when these tires cost us $198/per tire.goodyear supposedly warrants them for six years.customer support was hostile. Because i be,i eve these tires are defective, i wanted four new tires. Goodyear said if they did anything i'd be forced to take more goodyear tires.i paid for four new michelin tires to protect my family.we only have 28,138 miles on this car but have had to replace six goodyear eagle ls tires for sudden failure. Why on earth haven't they been recalled.

My complaint concerns the goodyear eagle ls2 p225/50r18 94t s2 b01rptl m63hbhdr2711 tire.i've had this tires around 34,000 miles and on three of the tires the tread was separating causing unusual tread wear in spots and bubbling and a safety hazard.the bubbling was bad enough for me to notice a wobble in my steering wheel.i find such wear irregular and to happen on three tires all during the same period of time unusual.i have my car serviced at regular intervals and my service provider never found anything irregular about the wear on my tires until recently.such swift and irregular wear should be recorded and acted upon because it does pose a risk hazard to drivers who may experience a blowout on the road due to the separation and bubbling.
I should be getting 4 new tires from my auto dealer in a program that is if i service my car with them i get tires when they meet the required wear. Some time ago i had to replace one tire due to a road hazard and now only 3 tires meet the wear requirement. Now i have asked several tire retailers about this and received several different replies about the wear amount but all said if the 4th tire has less half wear left it is dangerous not to replace the 4th tire. The 4th tire has been measured at 6/32 wear left and i?m told that is less than half but i/m not getting the 4th tire replaced. I have has a discussion with them but they will not replace the 4th tire. What is nhtsa reading about this tire replacement? is this a dangerous action to take and would nhtsa take any action with the appropriate dealer?
No failure, just poor performance.goodyear eagle ls-2 on a 2016 silverado.tires were so out of balance the entire vehicle shook at highway speeds.the shop had to replace several tires as they could not be balanced. Defective tires!

The issue is that the the tires were already 2 years old at the time of being purchased as premium new tires at a total cost of $667.45. So after just 2 years of use we are faced with the cracking and premature wear of the rubber compound causing the tire to become unreliable andsubject to a premature failure.we are now required for our own safety and that of other road users to purchase 4 replacement tires at a cost of $640.00why are major tire manufacturers and their retailers allowed to sell to the public old tires as "new" ?.
