Since may 2nd, 2003 have had farm truck, f550 6.0 liter diesel 4x4 cab & chassis, into dealer six (6) times for a problem with 6.0 liter diesel motor, have asked twice to fix leaking transmission/transfer case and have complained once about severe front end shake (to which no responce was made and after discovering ford had installed drive position only tires on front axle, replacement was made with proper steering tires). Truck used for long distance transportation ofhay, straw, cattle and machinery. Engine since having 2,000 miles has rough idle, excessive smoking, engine miss (skip) under load or idling, poor fuel economy. On august 1st, 2003 the engine lost power, a short while later stalled, while under load and on a major interstate. This caused significant loss of brakingcapacity on the pulling unit, with a heavier load or on a grade this could have been serious. Able to get on shoulder, truck re-started proceeded with caution to next ramp engine stalled again coming down ramp same braking problem. This time it appears that a number of fuel injectors failed dumping fuel into crank case, 11 extra quarts, metal shavings in pan and destroying the turbo. (drop down menu for vehicle information only shows option of e550 this is a f550.)

Brand new vehicle on way home after purchase started to shimmy and shake at speeds between 60-80 mph on open highway. This was distracting for driver and made the vehicle difficult to hold steady tracking down road. This was reported to dealer within 48 hours. Dealerre-balanced front tires. The same driving performance problem still occurred and unusually after driving vehicle 5-10 miles continual distance. I drive 47 miles to work daily on interstate 95 in north carolina, and after a few miles this shaking starts happening at varing speeds above 60 mph. The vehicle seems to occassionally dart from side to side while trying to track normally down the road. Dealer says the alinment is not out. I pionted out to the service manager that the back right tire was in fact feathering on the outside. The vehicle has been returned to dealer (lumberton nissan) 3 times, and the last visit they removed news tires which they had replaced- wihtout results- and ran them on a machine at the chevy dealership. They did find that particular tire to be out and replaced it. The vehicle still shakes and has a high speed vibration. This adversely affects the vehicles safe operation on the open highway. The dealership doesn't want to continue trying to track down the problem of the vehicle, so i have contacted nissan corp., offices and filed a complaint on the vehicle and requested today to return the unit to the dealership. I feel that the characteristics of the performance of this vehicle is a safety hazard resulting from a defect in the drive train of the vehicle. To avoid a fourth visit the dealer (which n.c. Lemon law states) they would be obligated to refund or replace the the unit. I contend taht my v4 frontier truck either hast a problem internally in the drive train, or because it is built on a lighter frame, it cannot perform safely as marketed due to dangerously miss-matched component suspension system, which is essentially a design defect on the part of nissan.

Sept.3,2004 my wife and i bought a 2004 buick lasabre new,.with about 90 miles on the car at interstate speed i noticed the car had a slight viberation and a slight pulling to the right, the driversseat as well as the passenger seat also became vary uncomfortable,i felt like i was fighting the car the whole trip to fla.the futher we drove the worse all problems got, wegot as far as daytona beach,fl. When these conditions got so bad i stopped the trip and called roadside asst.after talking to the dealerin florida (not the selling dealer) i was informed that the right front and left rear tires where out of spec, and all tires where out of balance, when i as if the tires where replaced they said no,reason was they claimed that the tire maker was on strike and they would notreplace the tires but said they did balance all 4 tires, they said that would take care of the viberation, but they didn't know why the car was pulling so hard to the right all the time, when i ask the dealer if there was a chance of the tires braking upon my trip back to ky, i was told 50/50 .on the way back home not only these problems got worse but then the drivers seat broke, then the front passenger seat broke, these new problems happened before we ever got to the florida state line, after a long painfull trip home leaving me and my wife with bad pain in bothlegs from the knee down (and pain still exsisting) i took the buick back to the dealerwhere i bought it and traded it in on another car (not buick) even after i told the dealer about how unsafe this car was to drive i still had to take a 5,000.loss to get rid of it.this car is again for sale at the dealer, between evansville in,and owensboro ky this car is silver last 5 numbers of the vin is 66948 do not this car never should have passedquality control and got out of the factory, buick has not replied to my complaint, they have also not offered to pay for our trip interuption or our pain and suffering.

Within one week, both the left-rear tire, then the left-front tire experienced tread separation.
