Tire developed a 3 inch long bubble in sidewall, dealer would not replace, told to take it to general tire. General claimed i ran over something (which i had not)and would not replace under warranty. I replaced tire at my expense for safety reasons.( dot number: tire size: p205/65/r1 )
General tire p235 75/r15 white wall dot# achl2kt493 mounted on a 1973, chevrolet monte carlo,not original equipment.while driving on at 65mph. Consumer heard some noise, and then heard some flapping noise. Left front tire had some tread separation. Contacted dealer, anddealer replied that since consumer switchedtires from another vehicle thattires were not coverd under warranty.
