I bought a gmc sierra 3500hd dually and the top roof lights keep burning out. I have replaced lights rt and lt4times at the dealer . My warranty 36000mils expired and the lights are burnout ,i can also smell burn solder inside truck cab. Also my tires are no good after 10000 miles tires wore out general tires aw . Tires should have lasted more specially coming from the dealership. Please help.thank you.
General tire grabber r275/60r18 had a blow out rt front tire 2mths old tires. Lft front shows a line crack along sidewall. 1st tire told nothing could be done 2nd tire showing defect told to buy new tire and send defect in for ruling. No grabber tire in all country for replacement per general all out of stock for 3 mths or so.
The all season grabber tire tread tor apart as driving on the high waythe tire is here still but the tread of the tire is notthe tire numbers is : dot # a3723mn 0103 p265/70r16 all season aw.
Sudden tire blow-out on highway. Pressures ok, tires maintained. Approx 75% service life of tire left. Tire was general grabber aw p265/70r16. Merchants tire did not honor any warranty. Curious if other tires may blow or is this an isolated incident. Tires were purchased at 52k miles, currently 74k miles on vehicle.

While traveling northbound on i-75, near lake city, fl., the rear, passenger side tire tread came completely off the tire. The tread damaged the rear, passenger side of my ford ranger truck. Fortunately, i managed to pull over to the emergency lane and no one was injured. When my mechanic inspected the rest of the tires he discovered that a half dollar sized chunk of tire was missing from the driver's side rear tire. The condition of this tire, coupled with the other one, forced me to purchase a complete set of new tires. Needless to say, i wasn't very happy over this whole incident. I am, however, happy/lucky to be alive and writing this complaint to you. P.s., just fyi, i am still in possession of all four general tires.

The contact owned a 2005 nissan frontier. The vehicle was equipped with continental general grabber aw tires, size p265/70r16 (na). While driving approximately 75 mph, the vehicle suddenly began to wobble and became unstable. The contact reduced the speed to 68 mph when the rear driver side tire suddenly malfunctioned, causing the contact to lose control and crash the vehicle. The driver sustained a contusion to the left knee that required medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed and a police report was filed. After inspecting the vehicle, the contact discovered that the failure was due to tread separation on one of the tires. The manufacturer was not notified. The tire and vehicle failure mileage was 111,000.
