The contact owns a 2001 chevy silverado 1500. While driving 70 to 75 mph the vehicle began shaking and then the rear passenger side tire blew out causing damage to the back quarter panel. A tow truck driver replaced the tire with a spare tire. The rear quarter panel of the vehicle was also repaired. Two month later, the driver side rear tire blew out causing damage to the fender above the wheel.the tire dealer that the contact purchased the tires from confirmed that there were no existing recalls. The contact has not notified the manufacturer and the vehicle has not been repaired.the current and failure mileages were 113,000.

The contact owns a 2001 dodge ram 3500 with futura adventurer ht p245 75 r16 tires. The contact stated the rear passenger tire blew out while it was in the driveway. The contact stated that before they replaced the tire, they had to replace the same model tires because the tread belt split off and both rear tires blew out. The contact was concerned about the safety issue because of the low mileage on the tires.the failure mileage was 65,000 and the current mileage was 85,000.

Dt*: the contact stated while driving 70 mph on normal road conditions, a loud noise came from the rear driver side tire.after a visual inspection, it was noticed the tire tread had separated.after 500 miles, the same problem recurred to the front passenger side tire.the tire distributor was contacted without a positive response from the corporate office.the tire manufacturer referred the contact to the distributor where the tires were purchased.the tires were sold with 60000 miles trouble free guarantee.the contact was very concerned because of the serious safety risk involved in both incidents.
