2004 saturn ion with 19,200 miles original firestone 690 ( p185/70 r 14 ) front tires worn down to tread life indicators. Front driver side tire worn to steel belt. Most wear on both from innermost tread. Vehicle tracks true,no misalignment. Any recalls or info on these tires or vehicle ?

While driving front drivers side left tire blewout.the dealer was notified. *nlmthere was severe vibration and consumer found that the left front tire tread had separated.after traveling another 65 miles there was severe vibration and the left rear tire had tread separation.

The sidewall separated completly.the tires are in good shape with only 30,000 miles on them.it separated tonight (3-31-01) at 8:30 pm while traveling 60 mph.the car had four adults and two children in it.no one was hurt.there does not seem to be any puncture that could have caused the tire to lose air.i am wondering if this is the same problem the expolorer had?
