Pe00-020; tire has never been used and never been on ground. Consumer drove about 250 miles when the right front unused tire tread came completely off. Please provide further information.

Consumer stated the tire was thumping and soon afterwards tire experienced a blowout, consumer purchased 4 new firestone 721 tires, all failed by 30,000 miles, 2 of the tires had ply separation, and the other 2 had sidewall failures that were caused by the consumer.*jg
3 of 4 firestone tires on my car have delaminated.the first tire had the tread delaminate from the tire.the second and third have had the sidewall delaminate from the tire.

The driver side rear firestone tire on my 1988 chevrolet scottsdale pick-up had the tread separate from the tire while traveling east on i-10 in tallahassee. I was going approx. 65 mph. The tread slapped the rear side of my truck bending and damaging it, and then wrapped around the axle under the vehicle. I just barely managed to keep control of the vehicle. Luckily the tire slowly deflated "after" the incident.
