Several items first the dash bowed in from both sides,a month after picking the car up the air conditioner went out the dealership said my problem, the tires were bad we replaced them they are bad all the time have to be replaced more then a normal tire should , the car broke down last year on the highway again my problem the rotors and other things were bad somthing i as a consumer would not have known about , cannot get car inspected because the horn does not work and cannot be fixed due to airbag again my problem o yes was in a finder binder airbag did not work minor injries , the drivers seat rocks the rear seat belt will not work more problems this car is worth nothing i on;y drive to and from work in it and the way it is falling apart youd think i travel across country in it ...this is not a good car to ever purchase will never buy from ford again!!! srb this prblems have been on going from 2000-2003.
I have had nothing but trouble with this car since i have had it.the rear end makes loud noise, i have brought it back to the dealership numerous times, and they always tell me nothing is wrong.it makes a roaring noise in the rear end, and something is scrapping on the tire on the rear driver side.in july, i was traveling on the highway with my 3 kids, and the tire on the rear driver's side just went to pieces.we were in a terrible accident.we went off the highway into the woods where the trees stopped our acceleration.the airbags did not come out.i was so thankful to be alive, and my kids also.we sustained about 8000 dollars worth of damage.the car was repaired, and now the same tire that blew out, and was replaced by the repairman is worn again.i am afraid everytime i drive.i can't afford another car, and no one wants to take it as a trade-in because of the botched deal upon purchase of this car.this is the car from "heck".now my warranty has expired, and the roaring noise in the rear is getting louder and louder.i have had the most horrible experience in my life with this car.it is a lemon on wheels, and the dealership always says nothing is wrong.i have had a conversation with another focus owner, and she has described some of the same problems.i have also had conversations with mechanics at the dealership, and they speak of all the focus' they see as trouble.please help.*nlm

There is a vibration felt in steering wheel when driving at freeway speeds.i have had the car aligned 2 times, replaced the tires 3-times, replaced the brakes 3-times and had the tires rotated and re-balanced 6 times, in two years.i have had all of the recalls completed.the vibration still exists and the dealer cannot fix it.the dealer just keeps telling me to get the tires re-balanced, or get new tires again. *nlm

My gas gauge reads improperly.i will leave my car showing over 1/4 of a tank, not use the car after that and the next day the gas gauge will show it is on e. I have only been averaging 18-21 mpg for city and 25 for highway.*la

Bad shimmy and wobble in front drivers side also makes steering wheel wobble bad.

2002 f250 from j.c.ford returned for service the two front tires was damaged by someone in the service department when i went to tell the service manager my problem he remarked we did not do that and would not talk to me about it. I will never takeany vehicle back to them for any reason. Nor will i buy another ford. This is not a complaint about ford but about the service department at j.c. Lewis ford. *nlm
In may 2003 we purchased a 1998 motor home.the tires passed inpsection and have perfect tread.on may 26 one of the firestone 16 tires blew on the highway.we had it replaced.on july 3, another on of the firestone tires blew.we have both tires and was told by a mechanic the tire were faulty.there was no road hazard.the second incident caused damage to the motor home.
Two firestone tires on my truck blew out on the freeway within 10 days of eachother, while my wife was driving.this put her in extreme danger and a very unsafe situation.
Several tulsa dealers unable/unwilling to repair small nail puncture of ft70c tire.state "this tire not made to be repaired-self sealing" continual loss of air necessitates constant refilling.previous tire repaired by certified tire service facility showed sidewall separation using acceptable repair equipment.tire make has been discontinued. Now manufactured under different model designation.*nlm

Firestone tire fr410, dot hy m3 41 a 349, p215 70r15 97s purchased on 5-22-02 with tire failure because of tread separation on 5-27-02. This resulted in a very serious automobile accident. The tread of the tire wrapped itself around the rear axle of the automobile while we (me and my daughter) were travelling on the freeway at 70+ miles per hour. The car fliped and landed on its top when it came to rest! i later found out this was a tire that had been returned to firestone because of fear with the firestone debacle and then sold to me for $25.00 per tire. I through an attorney filed a claim with firestone and after a year of exchanges i was told by firestone this was not a recalled tire nor was it on any watch lists therefore there would be no settlement. Firestone had their field people examine the tire though the results of the examination have not been shared with me and my attorney. This was obviously a faulty tire. The fact that this practice is happening is appalling and the manner in which firestone is dealing with it is even more of a concern. The tires should never have been resold. I would like to request that one of your field representatives in the area please examine the tire. The tire was produced at a plant where some of the recalled tires have been made. If this tire has not been recalled and is not on any watch lists it is time that it should be recalled or added to the watch list. It is my understanding that your office has the ability to make changes and have an effect. My strong statement to you would be let's avoid senseless deaths because of the tire and take it out of circulation.please help!

Driving on expressway home going approxiately 55 -60 miles an hour. Car began to feel odd while driving . Left tire malfunctioned , driver lost the ability to contol car. Ford explorer rolled over, continued to speed across uncoltrollable for about 100 feet in busy expressway.

I own an rv with duel rear wheel's. In this case, it is on a ford chassis. To check or add air to the tires, we are required to install extenders. Myself like thousands of others have experienced this same problem. The valve stem eventually breaks, causing immediate air loss, causing tire failure, unless extreemly carful could cause an accident because unbenounced, this time it was the inner duel and not immediately noticed. A trucker noticed it and waved me over. The tire was totaly destroyed and slapping against the good tire with it's steel wires. I am suggesting a recall, as firestone advised me that these wheels shoudl have been provided with special stems (metal) prior to the extendors being added. Again, 'it is impossible to check or add air without extendors on ford duel wheels!'thank you.

Tire put on 11/5/02 at 158,624 miles.failed at 175,576 miles.motor coach was traveling from baraboo, wi to milwaukee, wi.driver had no advance warning when right front blew out, at 65 mph.vehicle dived to the right, but driver was able to regain control and move through traffic to shoulder area.
The consumer complained abouta firestone tire problem.all 5tiressplit on the sidewall. Firestone sent an inspector, and was told it was a road hazard. Vehicle was driven less than 1000 miles and the tires were defective.the second set of tires had three tires with splits in the same area.the firestone inspector suggested that this was due to rocks or some sort of problem cutting the tires.the consumer had never driven the vehicle off of paved roads.all eight tires had splits in the same area. *sc
While driving treadseparated on the front inside tires. Consumer heard a loud bumping noise coming from the front of the vehicle. Dealershipswas notified, but was unable to resolve the problem. Size 2255518 please provide the dot number.
Firestone tire model fr575 215/70r15 dot no. Hym3r5a427 tread separation. Tread separated from tire while on i-10 in houston, tx. Tire continued to hold air pressure but tread damaged rear area of vehicle. Firestone claim lack of maintenance which is not the case.
