This firestone 480 size p235/75r15 was on a ford f150 1993 standard equipment.tread peeled while driving at 60 mph, causing damage to the rear end ofvehicle. The air was still in the tire. Firestone was contacted.
I was driving on an entrance ramp to i-95 when the tire tread came off my passenger side front tire. I had to keep driving because there was no emergency lane here , as it was under construction. I was able to exit within a mile, and the tire did not blow out.
