The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, the front driver's side tire tread separated. As a result, the contact crashed into a concrete median.the front driver's side tire was not the original. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The dot number was unavailable.the failure tire mileage was 14,000 and the vehicle failure mileage was unknown.

3/13 i bought a set of federal couragia mt 35x12.50x20 tires and 10 months later the steel belts separated causing tire failure. 2/14 i bought another set of the same tires and they separated after 8 months. Dot4113 is the serial number of the second set of tires. I do not have the serial number for the first set. I would not recommend these tires to anyone and what do i have to do to get compensated because federal will not get back in touch with me.

The local tire shop assured me that they will also replace the tire that came apart and asked me to provide body estimates to repair the damage caused by the tire so they can submit them to tire distributor.the tires have approx. 15,000 miles on them.these tires are installed on a 2007 ford f-350 4x4 with a 5.4l gas engine.the tires are peeling off as if they were recapped tires but they are not recaps.

Federal couraga mt tire tread separation at freeway speeds without warning. Not even at half of the tread life no signs of damage or cracking prior to this. All other tires look okbut have been replaced for concerns over the safety of the tires and manufacturing quality
