At 40 mph the 4 wheel antilock brakes on my 2005 ford mustang locked up when i was attempting to stop at a stop light, causing my car to hydroplane into the back of a dodge pickup. The engine in my car was driven back into the fire wall upon impact; however, my air bag system failed resulting in more serious injuries to me.

I bought a 2007 suzuki forenza 4 door sedan new in 2007 but now the drive lights would not turn off did this once before about three months ago but turned off after about 47 minutes after i took the battery cable a lose. It started again on may 24, 2011 when my wife took our kids to basketball practice she smelt something burning, the car burst into flames with a lot of smoke down by her leg, another motorist saw her and put the fire out with a fire extinguisher. The car does not run it will turn over but not crank no power in car, no lights nothing works. Car is full of extinguisher smoke from trying to put fire out. The harness with wires going inside of it inside of car is melted, had to have car towed home 31.9 miles. Called suzuki about car they asked me is there a recall on the car, go figure please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also when car was working the tire pressure gauge stayed on even with new tires that i could not keep on caris wearing tires down and last but not least air conditioner was only blowing hot air even though it is full of freon.

I bought falken ziex 502 tires off of ebay.the belt snapped and i have had nothing but vibration since.i would assume that a broken steel belt in a tire is not a good thing, if tire failure was to occur; loss of vehicle control would be inevitable.i am in a car club and i asked about this, a club member informed me that falken ziex 502's are defective; that he onced owned them and had problems out of 2 tires.he mentioned how 502's were pulled from the market and 512's were introduced.i have not found any recalls or company information on this at all.i as well need to replace these faulty tires in weeks to come.

The problem i have been experiencing with my 1991 geo storm gsi, is everytime i'm at a red-light or stop sign with the car at a complete stop, my idle will shoot up from the normal 800-900 rpms, to 2,000-3,000 rpms.this is very dangerous on a automatic transmission equipped storm, since you have to firmly press on the brake pedal very hard to prevent the car from lurking forward and hitting a car in front of you, or injuring or even killing a walking pedestrian that happens to be crossing the street.it is also a hazard for manual transmission cars because engaging the engine at 2,000-3,000 rpm will result in violent forward motion. Example: you are pulled up to a stoplight and your foot accidentally slips off the clutch pedal. If your car is idling correctly at 800 rpm, the car moves a foot forward and the engine dies, but if the vehicle is idiling at 2,000-3,000 rpms, the vehicle will lauch forward like a rocket. Scenario two, the engine is hovering at 2,000 rpm, uncontrollably, and your foot slips off the clutch pedal. Your car bolts forward running over the pedestrian who happened to be crossing in the crosswalk.this is a problem that many geo storm owners have, but have had no luck in trying to solve the problem with general motors.the problem, from what a specialized mechanic told me, could be the ecm otherwise known as the "engine control module" which is the engine computer.any help is greatly appreciated, as we very much need it at this time for our safety, and the safety of others.thanks, eduardo zaballa.( dot number: tire size: p205/50/15 )

First incident:june 15, 2016heading to the expressway on my way out of town, the steering wheel started to shake and the car started to bounce. I pulled into a repair shop to get the car inspected. Second incidentseptember 22,2016i was out of town, and the car started to repeat the same as in june. I pulled into a tire shop, and was told that it was the steel belt. Again, i explained to the gentleman that this was the second incident in less than a year of purchasing the car. He advised that the tire was defective from the manufacturer, or the car set without movement, prior to selling and the weather beat the tires. He placed the tire in the trunk of the car and advised me to contact the dealership.in both incidents:tire had to be replace because of the broken steel belt inside the tire wall.

Falken tires ze512 worn premature outer wear due to sidewalls not strong enough for this type of vehicle. Someone should of been able to know this and save me (and others) some major $$$ on new tires.

On 11/08/06 i bought 4 new tires from sears atthe regency mall in jacksonville, florida. On 7/17/07 i was on the highway on my way to sears again when i changed lanes and had a blowout. At most i ran over one of the reflectors on the roadlines, but the blowout was so big i would have had to run over something much larger and sharper. I would have seen it. I went back to sears and explained what had happened. They insisted that i ran over something i knew i did not. I even went back and checked the road.shortly thereafter i developed an undetectable air leak on the side of the tire. I took the tire to a tire store. The worker told me that the tire was defective, though store management would not back his statement in writing. Time has passed long enough that if those tires were truly defective their would be a track record of this particular brand of tire.i had to replace the one tire, that had the big blowout and the other tire , the repairman was unable to fix. I put some of the liquid fix it in it and that seemed to mend it. I think they are defective. The tire information is as follows:brand: falken zirextubelessdot v4ku-3mtr2606pr-181-235/60r16 ze512100h m+su5061

I purchased 4 new tires for my 2004 nissan 350z, they are the falken pro g5 sport a/s tires p225/45r18 on the front. 245/45/r18 on the rear on 2/06/19 the mileage in was 16,292. On 1/15/20 i took the car out and the car was bouncing all over the road, i took it back to discount tires in las vegas nevada on that same day and they said it was the balance of the tires. When the technician tried to balance the tires he said they are off by over 1 ounce. Another tech came and tried to balance the tires and found a bulge on all 4 tires and opted to replace them all,i only had 69 miles on the tires! i have to say in all my years i have never seen tires develop bulges like these and all 4 needing replacement with only 69 miles on them! i am very nervous with these tires being that they are installed on a nissan 350z with the power the vehicle has.

20 october 2015to:nhtsasend via websitere:complaint ? faulty falken tiresjust over four months ago on june 2, 2015, i purchased and had installed two falken tires, p195/65r14 sincera t, from walmart incottonwood, arizona. On or near october 1, 2015 both tires blew out within two days of one another after less than 1000 miles. The out-of-state replacement dealer claimed the tires were faulty.please confirm receipt of this communication.thank you!

Tires out of balance had them balanced 5 times without resultsfound out that 3 of the 4 tires were out of round. The tires have only 5,000 miles on them.the dealer said that the warranty only covers the tire during the first 1/32 of ware.i took the vehicle in . The so called balanced the tires and after 5 times they found the tires out of round.i believe that the tire mfg. Should replace the tires.

I have had to replace tires, falken ziex s/tz 01 275/55 r 20 this is my 2nd set of 4 tires i have had to replaced. The first set the steel belts crossed over eachother 8 months and less than 10 thousand miles.this second set i just had to replace due to the tires causing my vehicle to vibrate extremely, at highway speeds causing me to slow in order to maintain control of my vehicle. In addition this caused extreme noise in my vehicle. This began approximately 2 years ago, the first set of tires were replaced on a pro rated basis, this second set was not.

I was driving my audi a-4 on the freeway at speeds of approximately 65 mph when there was a loud thumping on the left front of my vehicle. Moments later, it stopped but i noticed there were vibrations and shimmies on my steering wheel. I slowed down and pulled to side of fwy to inspect the tire. It appeared fine, however, vibration was still there. I pulled onto surface streets at lower speeds and it stopped. Shortly thereafter, i pulled into a gas station to take the tire off to replace with spare and noticed separation of the tread, measuring approximately 31 inches long and 1.5 inches in width. I was shocked that i didn't lose control or have a blowout from this catastrophic failure.

Etire other side wall separation (100%).

Tire completely disintegrated at highway speeds of 70mph. Only about 2 inches of the sidewall are left on the rim. The entire half of the tread-side was gone. No impact upon event. Simply separated from the sidewall all the way around. I have a photo of the remains. I've never seen anything like it.

My complaint is against falken tire and discount tire direct regarding a tire sold as the falken ziex ze-912.this tire is being sold as an all-season tire.it is in fact a summer tire.the tire has absolutely no traction in the snow and since i purchased the tires i have been in at least three circumstances where i could not safely stop my vehicle.i understand the difference between all-season and winter tires, but i have purchased all-season tires before that offer safe braking performance in snow and slush conditions.i am complaining against dtd as a major reseller of tire products because they market this tire as an all season product neglecting their responsibility to the buying public of offering safe products.

On saturday, july 17th, 2006, i had routine maintenance completed on my 2006 honda accord. The dealership told me that i needed 4 new tires. They installed 4 falken ziex ze 912 tires along with a front end alignment.i left the dealership, got onto to the freeway and my brand new right front tire exploded when i was traveling at 55 miles per hour.i immediately contacted the dealership and they requested that i have my car towed to them and they would investigate the situation.i spoke with the dealership today (monday) and they stated that the new tire was defective. They replaced the tire at no charge and reported that they would be sending the tired back to the factory to investigate the defect issue.

Purchased falken tires 11/15/2010.fk ze912b at sears . All four tires were high speed balanced. Car also had wheel alignment , as of 11/25/2011 with 15,000 miles the tires are almost balded in the front and not much tread life in the rear , as per the lincoln penny test. These tires were installed on a 2000 camry, have replaced these tires with bf goodrich advantage t/a , feel much safer.

Treads separated from tire while driving, nearly causing an accident. A couple of miles before it came apart, there was a slight vibration. I slowed down to fifty mph on a highway, the tire blew apart, momentarily lost control of the vehicle, and once i maintained control of the vehicle, i pulled over to the side of the highway. I took the tire back to discount tire, they wrote a report on the condition of the tire and sent the report back to falken tire. They denied liability for the tire failure and the tire is still in their possession.

On july 17th, 2010, i had 4 brand new falken zeix ze 912 installed on my car. Approximately 5 miles from the dealership, while driving on the freeway, the front right tire blew out. See odi number 10344123)today, august 14th, 2010, while driving down the freeway, the left front tire blew out. I had the spare tire put onto the car and drove to the dick hanna acura of portland, oregon; the dealership that installed the new tires on july 17th. The dealership reported that they could tell from observation that the car ran over a pot hole which caused the blow out. I explained that i was on the freeway and there were no pot holes. I also stated that it seems bizarre that a tire would not be able to hold up even if there were pot holes on the freeway.i reminded them that it was only one month ago that the right front tire blew out. At this point, the tire will obviously have to be replaced. The dealership did not have the appropriate tire in stock thus still has by car until at least monday. This appears to be a huge red flag with these tires. I requested that the dealership review the tires and give me a written confirmation that all the tires are safe prior to me picking up my car.

On installation i immediately noticed shimming, shaking and intense vibrations on my vehicle. I assumed it was the conditions of the highway, however, the following day driving on a different highway the shimming, shaking and intense vibrations continued and even intensified.i called the retailer, and explained the experience and they suggested having the tires rebalanced, i did and the behavior continued. I then took my car to my mechanic and had my front end aligned and the drove the car around, and the same results continued. I set my cruise control set at 69 mph and the car literally "danced" across the highway and i momentarily lost control of my vehicle.it also began raining and the traction of the tires was non-existent.these tires steer on their on and pull very hard to the right.

Drivng on the freeway at freeway speed when my front drivers side tire spontaneously seperated and came apart causing substantial vehile damage. I have detailed photos of tire and auto damage.

While checking the tire pressure the valve stem broke.

Two replacement falken tires were purchased at willowbrook-ntb#7291[houston,tx] on july 7, 1998 and placed on the rear wheels. The odometer reading was 143,000 miles. The first of the two blow-outs occurred on may 17, 2000 traveling at 70mph. As the blow-out proceeded, the vehicle shook violently and was difficult to control. The tire showed no signs of a cut or puncture; but rather had come apart, leaving layers and strips of the rubber with frayed steel wires sticking out. A tire "adjustment" was reluctantly given[i had purchased road hazard protection on both of the tires.] by the nearest ntb dealer who measured the tread [which showed no abnormal wear signs] to determine the adjustment. I told him i believed it to be a defective tire, since it was different from any "blow-out" i had ever experienced. The second "blow-out" occurred on july 3, 2000 while traveling at 60mph. Again the car shook violently but this time i recognized what was happening and had a somewhat easier time bringing the car to a controlled stop. The odometer reading was 181,143 miles. The second tire had the same appearance as the first, but more of it remained intact because i was able to pull over and roll to a stop more quickly. On both days the temperatures were between 98 and 101*f. The first tire had 35,291 miles of wear and the second had 38,143 miles of wear according to my calculations. I told the ntb sales technician that i was positive that both tires were defective and someone was going to be killed if they remained in use. I asked him how to report my suspicions. He offered nothing of help but argued that the tires were not defective.( dot number: v4cbf04347 tire size: 195/60hr15 )
