I purchased towmax tires for my restored vintage trailer and i had a catastrophic failure with one that destroyed the tire and damaged my trailer. Two tires were purchased in july of 2015 and one purchased in june of 2017.the older ones had approximately 5000 miles on them.it was one of these that failed. All tires are st235/80r-16".i am meticulous about the safety of my family and trailer.i have a compressor and check the air pressure daily when traveling.these tires were at 80 psi and traveling on a toll road highway in mexico at 60 mph when the failure happened.
The contact owns a 2006 peterson excel limited edition equipped with dynamic tire towmax scrsc tires, size: 235/80/r116. While driving 35 mph, the contact heard an abnormal noise and the front driver side tire blew out. In addition, the rear tires had tread separation. The vehicle was not diagnosed and the tires were not replaced. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate tire failure mileage was 2,500. The vin and dot number were not available.
