Passing a semi tractor trailer a about 70mph front end steering on new 04 electraglide classic began a wobbling of the front tire. It was extremely noticable and nearly caused the bike to go into the tractor trailer. In order to solve the problem i reduced my speed w/o applying brakes to about 40mph and the wobbling finally stopped. *tc

In august of 2003, we bought a new, 2003 pontiac vibe.in november, we had a terrible accident when the steering wheel locked up, while taking a curve.the vehicle lost control and made us hit the side walk withthe right front wheel.the two front wheels bursted and the rod broke in half.we started spinning until the motor, finally died.fortunately, there were no cars around at that time.our injuries are being treated and our insurance company covered the vehicles repairs.the damage was major and we requested an inspection from pontiac.they are not accepting responsibility and denied to provide us with a copy of the inspection report or pictures.the towing company mentioned to us that they had picked up three vibes witht he same type of damage.

Dt*: the contact stated the tire was very low and seemed to be flat. The vehicle was taken to a tire dealer who determined the valve needed to be replace and the tire was inflated. In july, one of the other tires were very low. The vehicle was taken to the tire dealer who determined the tread was worn out and the tire was replaced. The tire dealer also determined that all the tread on all tires were worn and needed to be replaced. Only one tire was replaced at that time. The vehicle was taken to the service dealer for a second opinion who agreed that the tread of the tires were worn and recommended new tires. The other three tires were replaced at the tire dealer. The vehicle was taken back to the service dealer for an alignment. The vehicle had only been driven for 14,500 miles before the tires had to be replaced due to tread wear. The tires had been serviced regularly for tire pressure and tire rotation. The tire manufacturer was contacted who determined that they would reimburse for the tires.

I continue to have a problem with tire/steering wheel vibrations in my 2003 toyota 4-runner sport edition.the problem occurs after the vehicle has been sitting overnight, or all day long in a parking garage.the pulsing and steering wheel vibrations occur between 60 and 65 mph, disappear at about 70 mph and resume at 65 mph.after approximately 5 to 10 miles the problem dissipates.the dealer says the tires are balanced and alligned.the dealer states the problem is caused by "fiberglass belts" in the dunlap tires that form a "set."a regional tire chain specialist states this is "nonsense."they suggest symptoms and fact it always occurs at the same speed suggests improperlybalanced tires or allignment, or tires "out of round," however the fact the problem disappears after driving suggests these are not the problem.i understand the lexus version of this vehicle has a similar problem and auto magazines note a problem with "engine vibrations.

I want to report tire separation on three of my dunlop p25570sr15rover-atsl tires purchased from tires unlimited of dayton oh . All three went bad at the same time with only 30,000 miles on them. I replaced them with their recommended firestone tires at a cost to me of about $340.00.

On june 28, 2003 a friend and iwere driving to lake geneva ill. When my left rear tire inside wall seperated from the tire completely. I did not hit anything on the road the tire when it blew out made me lose control and i went into a small ditch.i changed to the mini spare and went home. I contacted dunlop about the tire and they said that since the tire had a patch on the inside of the tire that the side wall seperated because of the patch, the patch is located on the tread area on the inside of the tire.i contacted the person that sold me the tires and he said that manufactures put patchs in tires so they will have better balance. Dunlop said that they will give me a new tire if i pay the store $33.00 plusmounting and balancing. I told them that the tire was defective and that they should replace it at no cost to me, they said thats the only offer that they will give take it or leave it.my car is only driven in the summer time, and is put away in the winter on blocks and under a cover. The miles on this 92 miata are only 39,000 miles, the miles on the tires are about 7,000 miles. I feel that i'm entitled to a replacement at no charge, because the tire was defective.
