The contact owns a set of cooper master craftcourser a/t 2 tires on a 2001 gmc sierra.while driving between25-55 mph the vehicle started drifting to the left.upon further inspection he noticed that the tread on the tires were separating.he had three sets of tires replaced. However the manufacturer will not assume responsibility for the fourth set. A representative concluded thatthe tires are separatingbecause of stone drilling on the roads. The failure mileage was unknown. The current mileage was 115,000.updated 10/27/09 the consumer stated he replaced three of the tires. The fourth tire is splitting in the center with wires coming through the center of the tire.updated 10/29/09

The passenger side rear tire experienced tread separation while drivingat 60 mph. As a resultrear fender and exhaust were damaged. The cause of the failure was undetermined. The dealership has been notified.

Tires were purchased in december, 2001 from a goodyear dealer.tires have recently separated (two front tires last week) (two back tires this week).no blowouts have occurred; however, we were lucky.goodyear agreed to replace the tires for us at a discounted price, which price was figured based on the "life left on the tire".they had no knowledge of this recall and now we are out of $232.+ for the replacement of the first two tires.they are currently in the process of replacing the second two tires at a rate of $96.00 a tire.goodyear apparently has no knowledge of this defect/recall and should be notified immediately of their incompetence.

Cooper, mastercraft, h00sp22570r15 ms. While driving at 40 to 50 mphrear driver's side tire tread completely separated.sidewall blewout like someone took a knife and cut out.consumer checked tire pressure once a week.please provide any further information.
