Purchased (4) cooper tires(185/65r14 trender setter; d.o.t. Ut75c2h1602 on 8-12-2002.a sidewall defect(2x1" bubble) was noticed and manufacturer was notified on 1/2006.tire(same type) was replaced at owner's cost.another tire sidewall defect(2x1" bubble) was noticed on 1/2008 in the same location as the first.this tire was returned to the manufacturer for evaluation.the manufacturer claimed it was not defective, but caused by customer.this caused customer to loose confidence in the quality of the manufacurer's tires for fear of a sidewall blow out.all tires were replaced with a different brand at owner's cost.

The contact owns a 1999 toyota corolla.the vehicle has cooper tires, size p175/65/r14.while driving 60 mph, the contact suddenly heard a noise coming from the rear passenger side of the vehicle.she exited the highway and noticed that the rear passenger side tire was completely flat and destroyed.the tires had been on the vehicle for less than a year.the contact returned to the place where the tires were bought and the tires were replaced with the same brand.within a year, the failure recurred.she believed that the performance of the tires was unacceptable and that a recall should be issued.the dot number was unknown.the failure mileage was 61,000 and current mileage was 64,000. Cooper trendsetter se,p205/55/r16,inside one tire is a pile of powdered rubber/inside wall of tire,rubber has came off and you can see what looks like bands.

Driving on 8/9/09, car started shaking, going about 70 mph.pulled to right lane slowing down, got off exit ramp and about 30 feet down left front tire blew out.tread had separated from tire and once got to safe place to change tire, my front quarter panel and left front headlight were damaged.

I purchase a set of cooper trendsetter se tires 235/75/15 .and i now have had them replaced twice .both times is was because for some reason the tires developed very bad vibration . I i now think i am going have to have them changed again .i just want to let u know that i have not caused this by abusing the tires but yet it still happened

I was driving on a busy interstate when my cooper trendsetter se tire shredded for no reason. Dot number 3dhlc2t4106. I have not been able to repair the tire at this point.
