The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 mph, a noise was heard coming from outside of the vehicle. After reaching a safe location, the contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that the front passenger tire exhibited a substantial amount of tread separation. The tire was replaced with a spare tire. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 98,000. The dot number was upyuc722503. The vin was not available.
